Checks and balances has been replaced by one hand washes the other. I don't know that anyone even has any respect for the Supreme Court any more, the last institution to resist decadence.

Poor brucetee is on a campaign that Cain & Newt cheated on their wives (No proof needed for Cain. Brucetee may be a racist). After all 5 women said so with no evidence. Must be true. I directed brucetee to a bow tie article where many Democrats were shown to be philandering. Was sure brucetee would want Thomas Jefferson's name be stricken from our history books. All schools and airports have Kennedy's named removed. Martin Luther Day be changed and his monument destroyed.

Lincoln once said give all his generals the same booze Grant drank. If alive today, he might say give a mistress to all our leaders. JFK may have been our best...
Myself, making illegal INSIDER TRADING is more important than cheating on wife. INSIDER TRADING is government business. Have wrote comments on this in the past. Not fair Martha Stuart went to jail for this but not a government Representative. Not so understanding of Soros being found guilty of this in France...

Don't expect a coherent answer any time soon - it's just not within his makeup.
Maybe also it's because too many politicians on both sides of the aisle, with the current President at the point - have found that it is much easier to keep their job (and a lot more pleasant upon retirement) to pander and cater to those whom have the money to give.

as to why people think politics is corrupt,might having something to do with the fact that theres a philandering hypocrite leading in the republican polls.
