brucetee throws in his one line zinger, "as for congress and creating jobs,it;s like the weather, everybody talks about it ,but no body does anything about it."

From Kennedy to Bush we had the longest BULL MARKET. Through tax cuts for "Bankers' and Billionaire's"(there is a shameful LIE) government revenue increased. All well with the world (as one could reasonable expect). National debt grew yes, as Congress outspend its increased revenues.

National debt is how much money are we in the hole right this minute. Can say National debt was this amount when Bush took office and this much when Bush left. So National debt under Bush increased $$$ X. Any liberal will gladly point out Bush prescription D plan keeps giving debt as long as it exist. Just one example. I point out bama had many "prescription D plans".

Bush's wars continue under obama, and he adds more military conflicts not less. obama adds heightened Keynesian economics. Even after Japan's miserable experience with Keynesian economics. By the way, where are the successful stories of Keynesian economics. All THOSE $$$ TRILLIONS in debt.

Was debt ceiling raise HIGHEST EVER ? Why committee needed to figure out rest of spending cuts. You know attempt to raise taxes on rich (no touch the other Bush tax cuts of course). Never mind it does not increase tax revenue.

Debt ceiling deal was no great win for Tea. Why not all TEA was for. But Tea certainly gets credit for "CHANGE"

After bad 10 days on Wall Street, today, Dow down 512.72.

Now you know why TEA turned down "President Obama's $4.5 debt trillion reduction plan". Or at least shoud...

A few passing thoughts for one's consideration:

... And then there is the unconscionable dirty deeds that Congress pretends do not exist:

The unnecessary wars are pushed by the wealthy and financed in part on the backs of the poor; then, the actual killing and suffering in war is born mainly on the poor, unemployed and mostly uneducated men who must fight. The budget of the usa war machine is also national and eternal disgrace. See some links:

The USA is thus in financial and moral collapse which this Congress exemplifies:

He got largely what he wanted. Our president is not a Democrat, does not support or fight for traditionally democratic principles, and it was HIM who put entitlements on the chopping block. He does not believe in government jobs programs, so he is merely praying that business, sans demand (because average people have no money), will just hire people out of the goodness of their mercantile hearts.

We are doomed because both parties serve the same master, and that master ain't the American People, it is Wall Street. Period.

Obama is a conservative guy, an addled psyche, and has further pushed all national conversations to the right.

The fact that he could still win re-election because the Republican party is so completely batsh*t crazy, well, I don't think that's anything necessarily good for the country. Good for Obama, but not the country. For heaven's sake, the guy genuinely thinks Reagan was transformational! Come on, just listen to Obama, the incompetence and absurdity are always on display.
