Bruce has nothing constructive to say.

Must be nice to be so delusional going through life contributing nothing, yet still think of oneself as productive.

the way the republicans are behaving with regard to the debt ceiling crisis, along with their opposition to the newly formed consumer protection agency.

they should seriously consider renaming the g.o.p.the obstructionist party.

the name change would be more in keeping with their creed.

brucette_ Rich continue to pay MORE than their fair share...

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/lying_about_bushs_tax_cuts.html

40-50 % of Americans still pay NO federal income tax. That's low end tax payers. Thank the rich for your welfare. They pay the federal tax. 99.1 %. Remember that when saying they do not pay THEIR SHARE.

These are government REAL NUMBERS. Not estimates published by CBO. Repeated in American Thinker, not made up by American Thinker. Doubt you ever see in a liberal article because it destroys them. There is similar result for the 20's, Kennedy, Reagan, and Newt tax cuts. Revenue INCREASED BY creating investment & JOBS.

What liberals love to point out is debt with tax cuts. Bush had Clinton housing debt and bad home loan paper harming Wall Street. Still CBO numbers show improvement because of Bush tax cuts for both working class & rich. As if less revenue is generated with tax cuts. untrue. Congress simples outspend increased revenue. Try to explain logic to a liberal. Numbers staring them in the face, they will say source is Heritage Foundation, is right propaganda. Never mind is CBO data.

brucetee watches sounds bits and think is gossip. Bill O' does not have time to disprove all hogwash said on his show. If he did, no liberals would be on his show. So dumb people think what Leslie says on his show is true, because Bill did not dispute her. Not enough time. Equal time given to liberal to present their views. Why # 1 going on 11 years. All media Matters cares about is right view expressed, ignore liberal sitting their talking too.

None of this will sink into brucetee brain. It took a miracle to get him to realize Newt was not fired from the House. My satisfaction is showing brucetee for what he is. A misguided lowly informed liberal and all that it entails.

At least, brucetee is entertaining...

with the republicans unrealistic and obstinate stance on raising the debt ceiling and other matters.they should really be dubbed the obstructionist party.

with the exception of trying to preserve unjustified tax cuts, while wanting to reduce spending, along with wanting to dismantle americas social safety net.their record is abysmal.

Brad baby! The Empty "O" Man wrote the book on "wheeling and dealing". He's a Chicago politician! Dude, where have you been?

1. "It's the Republican refusal to countenance any tax rises at all that is at fault. "

Bush daily debt was $$$ 1.5 billion a day. obama's is 3 times higher. obama budget proposal for 2011 would have added $$$ 9.5 Trillion new debt over time according to CBO. How much of a tax raise will wrench the thirst for spending of the Democrats ? That is why voters kicked Democrats out Nov. 2, 2010.

2. "It is not enough to just identify the source, this is not the cure. We need to identify the purpose for what they do- ? "

Purpose is to keep taxes low to reactivate job growth. To undo legislation by obama that stifle job creation, like obamacare.

3. "If both houses cannot agree with each other nothing gets done."

For centuries we have had party divided Houses, and things have managed to get done.

4. "At this point they refuse to do anything hoping this will destroy the economy within months"

For 800 days Democrat controlled Senate has not passed a budget. 2011 budget was due Oct. 1, 2010. Democrats owned Congress and WH. They REFUSED to pass budget. We in House passed budget proposals. Senate has not changed then in hope of passage. Senate has not been prosposing their version. Neither has President. Is not us refusing tooldtocare of TX. We had a deal until last moment obama changed it.

Oh yes, I will vote Republican. Another Nov. 2, 2010 coming...

It is not enough to just identify the source, this is not the cure. We need to identify the purpose for what they do- ?

If both houses cannot agree with each other nothing gets done.

Currently the Republicans hold a majority in the House of Representatives. At this point they refuse to do anything hoping this will destroy the economy within months. Then they can blame this terrible event on the Democrats, more specifically on Obama. Thinking this will guarantee a Republican victory in 2012.

And this is sad. Sacrificing real people for what, only a Republican can tell you for sure -

Would you vote Republican ? (:-
