...no one could fit George Washington shoes, once everyone wants to president, right!?

Obama even worse, he wants to be president again, so his desire for power is twice the one form Mitt, Cain, Bachman, etc.

Are you kidding me Mitt Romney is jumping on the bash Cain band wagon for his views on Muslims in his cabinet boy Ill tell you when the supposed front runner compares George Washingtons religous tolerance to Cains not wanting radical Muslims in his cabinet, first of all there were no radical muslims in Wash. time and secondly Mitt Romney must really be desperate. Now I know without a doubt who we need to elect to clean house and it aint Romney.Go Herman

George Washington was not fearing that a peaceful Muslim might actually turn out to be a sleeping terrorist who wanted to infiltrate the administration of the country. If he was fearing this, it would have been "a talked about issue." There also were not Americans, turning Muslim, and turning terrorist -which has happened in our day of age. I'm glad we have a candidate who is open enough to express is deep down thoughts about protecting our country. He does not just say the "politically correct things". Herman is not a bigot. And, he has said that it's possible for a Muslim to be in his administration. There is nothing wrong with him wanting to be sure, in an interview, that there was allegiance to the constitution. Would you actually want a president who was not aware that some Muslims are not peaceful? Would you really want a president who just ignored the idea that some Muslims want to kill the infidels? Do you want a stupid president? Of course not.

Sure the 'club members' from both parties do the vetting and approving. You'll hear a lot about 'experience, expertise and wisdom'...attributes only a 'club member' could possibly possess. But wait. After decades of 'club member' leadership and all those important attributes...and we are still right here. Worst economy since the Great Depression. How is that possible??? I mean those guys and gals are soooooo smart.

Get a clue people. Only outsiders like Cain, Paul, and Teaparty types can help us RID ourselves of the 'club members'. Those folks have made a huge mess of things and want us to believe...they are the only ones who can fix things...who are they kidding???

Learn about the FairTax, support an independent audit of the FED, learn about a return to the Gold Standard and vote accordingly...Transfer power back to 'We the People'! Most of the 'club members' hate and demagogue all of the above.....great.....nuff said

Brad,

Only a Democrat or a company that works for Democrats would write an article like this, of which you are. Please tell your clients to start looking for new work, Romney is going to pulverize Obama in the upcoming election because the homeless and underemployed along with their neighbors are fed up with a President still learning on the job. What's the next Obama hand out, Russian bread lines. Obama promised hope but Romney will give us jobs. Share that with your Democrat clients and tell them that they can take that all the way to the bank and cash the check. With Obama we just get another President but with Romney we get our Economy and Country back. If your boss gave you a great paying job and long term employment would you care if he was a Jew, Mormon, Muslim, Atheist, or Christian?

Romney's remarks are in no way be twisted as Out of Touch.

People could not find any faults on this good Candidate so they create lies and twist everything he says. Vote Mitt Romney!

Sorry, I'll pass on your koolaid Brad. The religious intolerance Mike Huckabee showed during 2008 would have had Washington turning in his grave. The fact that he was a pastor means he knew better. I would rather belong to a faith that produces a Romney than one that produces a Huckabee, and I bet most Americans would agree with me when they see the difference. Do you remember Mike's joke about someone shooting Obama or what about his bashing of Muslims and Mormons without even a moment's thought of the matter? Romney attacked Huckabee on his record, but Huckabee attacked Romney on his religion.

This has to be one of the worst articles I've read in a long time. Romney is 10 times a better Washington than the people you seem to use as proof against Romney. Brad, thanks but no thanks, I'll pass on the koolaid.

I can't believe I wasted the time to read this article. I thought maybe there would be some valid comparisons between Romney and Cain and Washington, and maybe even some clever argument behind the author's position.

Instead, what I found was a long personal statement by the author about why he doesn't like Romney based on some quotes by a political opponent (Huckabee).

The author, like the Huckster, just doesn't like Romney. That's fine, but it doesn't make a very compelling article.

Also, Huckabee is such a douche for making that comment about Romney having no soul. That's quite a personal attack if I've ever heard one. It sounds like a comment borne more of personal hatred (religious disagreement too perhaps?) than political competitiveness.
