Democrats seeking presidential candidate. The ideal candidate will be black and/or female - possibly hermaphrodite. This will ensure support and a "pass" by the mainstream media, and enable supporters to claim racism whenever any criticism is made. Experience in governing or leadership not required.

Should be able to comfortably embody the snappy, smooth moving, glib huckster of bumper sticker slogans - facile, but cool.

Must be a graduate of a liberal university (is there any other kind?) majoring in Social Justice, Evils of Western Civilization, Women's or Ethnic Studies.

Should be nominally Christian, or simply "spiritual not religious". The important thing is to be entirely subjective about God and morality.... Whatever works and turns you on baby!

The successful nominee will be expert in teleprompted witticisms and hip anecdotes. Should also be masterful at obfuscation and ambiguity, while claiming to be totally transparent with plausible and apparent sincerity.

Applicant should be adept at using the religion of Environmentalism to effect Progressive social change.

Ideally the applicant should be expert in backroom political deals - at the same time claiming to reject partisanship and "politics as usual".

how about Ron Paul, who I can only assume is represented by "Other" in your poll, which is btw 47% right now.

Being a republican must be like trying to live in a nest of rattlesnakes. I guess old romney and newt are finding out what it means to screw up the standard dogma that all good republicans must memorize and pledge allegiance to. It would be easier if they had an indoctrination school for all of their candidates before they got to the gate. a simple catechism of what a good republican can say and can't say.

barry came up with late budget proposal adding $$$ trillions in debt according to CBO. Don’t see democrats pushing that !!!

Yes, “The Truth Hurts” as you say. Our pick to fill WH is not made. There is a process if you didn't know. Some will fall and one will rise to the top with the cream. You have a brused candidate whose flaws are well known now. barry can not deny a Joe the plumber now.

What has democrats done to change another Nov. 2, 2010. NOTHING. democrats __ Party of Complainers and Doers of NOTHING...

As silly as all the Republicans, they are probably going to be wishing they listened to Newt for calling out Ryan's radical conservative 'social engineering' budget. Ryan will prove to be the GOP's George Custer as long as they stick to his plan.

And Newt blurted out another great truth, that any quotes from Newt are falsehoods.

The Republican party is queuing up their circular firing squad, starting with Ryan's suicidal budget. I'm not about to stop them, in fact we haven't heard for Palin for a while, since last she was defending Trump. Don't let us down, we need all these crazy Republicans to chime in and join the circle.

Or can anyone with a keyboard and electricity weigh in with whatever blather occurs to them? I get more insightful commentary in the daily email from my mom.
