Terrorists have been around for a long time attacking us at all opportunities. They do this because they have been taught from an early age to hate and kill and be cruel to basically everyone. They buy into it because their lives are miserable and they're looking for someone to blame. They are taught this by people PRETENDING to worship the God "Allah". But those so called religious leaders are just sadistic liars. Proof? Is it logical for Allah to ask men to kill other men just because they are nonbelievers? Think about it. If Allah was truly God and all powerful, he wouldn't need man to kill other man. He could do it himself in the blink of an eye. Poof all "infidels" would be gone. Only muslims would remain on this planet. For that matter, why would God want all those POTENTIAL followers dead anyway? So let's see. God wants man to worship him. Wants lots of worshipers. So he asks muslims to kill an untapped market of billions of people. Nope. Doesn't make any sense at all. Why not just convert them all instantly instead.
What does make sense is this. Terrorists do not kill for Allah. They kill for MAN. Some evil filthy sadistic wife beating scumbag with a long beard claiming to be a man of God tells other men to kill themselves and as many nonbelievers as possible in the name of Allah. And those men, being of weak mind and immoral character DO IT. This isn't the way of God, it's the way of Jeffrey Dahmer. Of Adolf Hitler. Of Saddam Hussein. No. Osama Bin Laden and Anwar Al Awlaki are not men of Allah. They are false prophets, mass murderers, evil people and abusers of the weak. If anything, they are men of Satan. And they will continue to attack us as long as they have a clan of followers.
As to the democrats and WMD's. You're absolutely correct. Democrat and Republican alike as well as ALL the worlds political leaders, believed Iraq had and was developing WMD's. And those WMD's could fall into the hands of the terrorists who had just attacked us. Everyone believed it. And now, nearly a decade later, those same politicans are misrepresenting the facts to distance themselves from the war and to save their own jobs. They are hypocrites and liars.
As to the Bush haters and Obamazombies, or perhaps Obambies would be a better word, even two years after Obamanation came about, I still, every single day, hear people stating that Obama is wonderful and Bush was terrible. And now that we've had two years of Obama, 50% of his probable presidency and 25% of his possible presidency, I ask those people to elaborate. State the reasons WHY you think Obama is great and Bush was terrible. Give reasons. Include data. There should be plenty by now. And you know what? No one ever can explain why they like Obama and dislike Bush. It all goes back to two rather ridiculus pseudo-reasons. 1) race and 2) heresay.

Well done Obama!!! You've held onto the senate and passed the largest socialist health care program in the world. And FOOLED the tea party into thinking they've made significant gains! HA HA HA! Time to go on a tax payer funded trip to India. Obama deserves it, he's AMAZING! And brilliant!
If the tea party was a serious movement they would have taken the senate. But they're just a bunch of wackos in the countryside able to win a few strangely shaped house districts...
The tea party can't repeal Obamacare or investigate the fed without the senate. Obama won. He's a genius. He passed the largest socialist program ever and now he's defending it superbly by holding onto the senate. Meanwhile he's placating the tea party by claiming the house win was a big deal. it's really not. The major legislation has been passed. Obama won and now the senate will make sure it's defended. HA HA HA.. Tea party members aren' able to see this which is soooo funny!!! C'mon fed, keep the printing press going and the bailouts coming!

Harry Reid is still in the senate. Hee hee. Let me say that louder, HARRY REID is still in the senate. The tea party lost.... sure Fox News will spin in to sound like, "we sent a resounding gong of tea partiness through the country." HA HA HA! Nope!
The senate is still controlled by the progressives! The house changed because that's what usually happens to presidents, no biggie there.
The big news... HEALTH CARE WON'T be REPEALED.. hee hee. You hear that you tea partiers! You failed, you can't stop health care if you don't control the senate!!!
Now the Fed can keep printing money and the tea party CAN'T STOP THEM!!

Is their not an ounce of decency left in that company? Last nights coverage was nothing short of appalling and it takes something for me to say this because I lean a little left. I am fair minded however and what I witnessed last night on MSNBC was petty and grossly unprofessional. I will not watch FOX news out of principle but I can assure you that I will never watch MSNBC again. They set back journalism 20 years with their performance last night and I for one am embarrassed for what I saw and am enraged by the fact that they gave real ammunition to the conservative movement by displaying such blatant bias. Shame on you MSNBC!

Last nights election was a message to all politicians in our country including Obama. The message is this. WE the people of the US own the "seats". We put faith in certain individuals to do the right things and hire them via elections and put them in those "seats". And we, the people, can FIRE those individuals via elections if we have lost our faith.
In the government of yesterday. Individuals were corrupt. Politicians rammed unwanted bills through congress without proper debate. Back room deals were being made for votes and support money (same thing as bribery and extortion in my mind). Elections were tampered with (anytime someone offers something like a high paying job to a candidate to get him to drop out of a race is tampering and illegal in my mind). Supporters were "paid back" via porkulus projects. And trillions of tax dollars we wasted on nothing. And most importantly, we were all deceived.
Example? National health care. A 1 trillion dollar package that MANDATES everyone buys health insurance. If you don't buy it, you will be fined $1000 per person in your household per year. IF you don't can't afford it, you will be reimbursed SOME of the premiums via a tax refund. So. The average household of 2 adults and 2 children will be forced to fork over let's say..$500/month for minimum health insurance. Then come tax time, they can claim part of that as a deduction and get a higher tax return. So instead of getting a $1,500 tax return, let's say you get a $2,500 tax return. In the meantime, your health insurance only covers 80% and you still have to pay 20% of every doctor bill. Go to the doctor once per year per person and the dentist and you'll spend another $500 per person. Not exactly what you expected is it? What about the average illegal alien? Or how about the homeless? Or the unemployed? They won't get a tax return so they won't buy the health insurance and they will still be treated at our hospitals and billed by the hospital. And the driving force behind this insurance scam? The insurance companies will gain 46 million new policies. That's worth about $60 billion dollars per year. So, do you suppose the insurance lobbyists lined any Washington pockets with cash and hotel rooms with escorts to get this bill passed? Probably.
Is it any surprise that we have lost faith in our politicians and in yesterdays government? NO! Is it any surprise that we are all angry at our government and fired 78 democratic congressmen? Thats 25% of the democrates were fired! Is it a surprise? NOPE! The writing was on the wall as the health care bill was being rammed down our throats with backroom dealings and all around corruption.
We the people elected those politicians to those seats in congress to do what was right. They failed us all by doing the wrong things and not listening to us. And we fired them all en masse. Good riddance and congratulations America.

Oh Yeah - California is doing real well with its "Green Economy".
Brad, allow me to give you the same advice I gave to Ms. Stiehm - leave the East Coast and move to California. We're so green we're broke and unemployed. We just elected 3 faux Catholics; Moonbeam, Nutty Newsom and Pelosi. And, 60% ( 90% west of the I-5 corridor) of the state is entirely devoid of sensible thinking.
So come home Brad. Come home to the gay, goofy, green Golden State.
