Are Republicans Funny or Are They Sad?

Concerning Happy Meals, Santa Clara County and the city of San Francisco have proposed bans on Happy Meal toys. You can argue if this is banning Happy Meals, but without the toy it is just a hamburger and fries.

And by the way jogging by a crowded highway can be deadly.

Concerning calling all Muslims terrorists, if you were referring to me, please point out where I did that. My post said the only Muslims I had a problem with, were the extremists trying to blow us up. Call me crazy, but I do have a problem with that. You talk about using words like “all and everyone” inciting violence, but nowhere did I do that. However you did insinuate that all of the Christian right was urging the murder of abortion doctors, I am sorry but that is a lie. All I heard was condemnation of the murder by religious leaders. So are you inciting violence against Christians?

Yes there have been cases of Christians inciting violence in the past, the Salem witch trials, the Inquisition, the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s. But I am concerned with what is happening today. I promise you that if someone tries to have another Salem witchcraft trial I will be there protesting!

Concerning abortion, you state that it is the end of a life that has not started, but there is disagreement about when a life starts, and I would love for you to see my beautiful intelligent 10 year old nephew who was born premature at about 1 ½ pounds at a time he could have easily been aborted, and tell him he was not a life. I have read some of your posts concerning abortion in the past and I am sorry but you come across as someone who would allow abortion up until puberty.

It's sad you're such a joke .

Unborn children are innocent of any crimes. Murderers are not. It's a point of law that evidence of a rational decision to commit murder is the standard for capital punishment.

People other than those who are fanatical about their religion feel that radical Islamists are fanatics. That opinion doesn't automatically make someone a religious fanatic. Not all Republicans are religious. Some Democrats are. Isn't it sad you can't compose an argument that isn't a logical fallacy.

After the release of documents by WikiLeaks, isn't it clear that some of those who oppose the War in Iraq are really undermining national security? Not all of course, but I would suggest that many have at least applauded the leaking of information that could have led to deaths of innocent people involved in both of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Is it funny or sad that liberals think that every single Republican out there is a religiose pro-life uneducated bastard with a Southern accent?

Also:

Is it funny or sad that liberals say they are for the "worker's rights," but then they promote regulations and corporate taxes which do nothing but promote outsourcing?

Is it funny or said that liberals don't want criminals to pay for their crimes, but the only thing they can do about lowering the number of abortions is to teach kids kindergarten about gays?

Is it funny or sad that liberals say they are for "equality," yet they support discriminatory laws such as affirmative action?

Is it funny or said that liberals think the rich have the responsibility to help the poor, and then are against the US helping other countries in need.

Is it funny or said that liberals want to avoid "discrimination against the poor" at the cost of throwing the country into a still ongoing depression?

The list could go on and on and on...

Is it funny or sad that liberal human rights activists lament the intervention in places where the government is extremely oppressive, but then oppose the war in Iraq, which did away with, you guessed it, a government that was extremely oppressive?

Is it funny or sad that liberal secularists preach tolerance, but then are, you guessed it, intolerant of Christians?

Is it funny or sad that you, Mr. Bannon, believe Americans are stupid enough to believe you when you try to equate fetuses and murderers, rhetorical religious radicals and terrorist religious radicals, and an enemy list with rhetoric that undermines a war effort?

I'm going to go with sad on all counts.

I think this is more fun for conservatives than liberals, so thanks for coming up with the game!

Anthony Guzzaldo of IL 12:32PM October 15, 2010

Is it funny or sad that liberals who preach tolerance show no tolerance for conservatives? Didn't you just imply with the "elevator stopped a floor or two short" comment that people who disagree with you are stupid?

Is it funny or sad when liberals use the most extreme examples of social movements (pro-life bombers, etc.) to represent the mainstream? I'm going to assume you reject using an Islamic terrorist to represent all Muslims, so why did you reference the most extreme members of the pro-life movement as if they represent the norm? You wouldn't do that for extreme members of liberal social movements (i.e., eco-terrorists, anti-white civil rights leaders, etc.).

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you hypocrisy at its best.

Anthony Guzzaldo of IL 12:27PM October 15, 2010

Is it funny or sad to compare Muslim fanatics who have murdered literally hundreds of thousands of people to Christians who hate murder? What do you think of mine (and the majority of American's) "satirical" take on the matter Bannon?

TomW of WA 11:47AM October 15, 2010

If Mr Bannon were to be a victim of the next, inevitable terrorist attack. I bet that even on his deathbed he would defend his own murderers. This is called "psychosis" in the mental health industry.

Whack a mole of CA 11:19AM October 15, 2010

Excellent satire Mr. Bannon! But I see from two comments posted that either A. They have no sense of satire and B. The elevator sopped a floor or two short of thought. Yes it is funny & sad that a Pro-Life advocate would go into a church to kill a person who performed abortions. Yes it is funny and sad that a home grown terrorist blows up a building in Oklahoma just because he disagrees with the government. Yes it is funny and sad that a pro-life advocate denouces abortion but says that it is okay under certain conditions. It's funny and sad that we have people in this world that if you don't believe what they believe that you are a bigot or worse, gasp a liberal!

T. Harris of AR 10:54AM October 15, 2010

that proudly ignorant and narrow-minded bigots (like you Bannon)get national exposure and payment to spout their opinions?

Is it funny or sad that Harvard produced a teleprompter dependent

democrat politician and 'intellectuals' call him brilliant?

Is it funny or sad that a U.S. President denounces 'Americans for Prosperity' but not 'Communist/Socialist Party U.S.A.?

Is it funny or sad that a U.S. President is too cowardly to appear on the most widely watched and trusted news network but will appear on fluff like 'The View'?

You're right Mr. Bannon; great game!

(When does the sick feeling in my stomach go away???)
