JDZ has his facts straight and so do I. It is you internet shills that are either too stupid, too dishonest or both who don't have their facts straight. Of course, it is probably by design. I'd hate to think anyone was so stupid as to not recognize chain email rumors when they see them.

I agree with your assertions in your last paragraph.

Understand I'm not in the so called "birther" camp. Not because I believe he is a citizen, but rather because it would be difficult to remove the imposter from office based on what would essentially be considered a technicality.

You and I will both agree that rules are meant to be followed. You and I will also agree that there are requirements for US presidency.

The rules require that every US president meet the established/long held criteria for president. I don't fault citizenry for doing their civic duty based on their convictions. If they have elegibility questions, they should continue to demand resolution either in public or by insisting that SCOTUS make a final determination in private.

I propose that so called "birthers" continue their demands, but they should also demand a requirement that, in the future, all official candidates for presidency will have their credentials fully vetted 3 months prior to the innauguration date.

You need to list approved links for site. You the man. obama can make you a czar. You must have a shady past like Jones or Education man with children love group.

Join the black panthers and be a shoe in. Acorn can help you get foot in door. Maybe a union.

I'm glad someone pointed out that most of the people here just keep recycling the same internet rumors over and over again. Here is the truth about the so called employer health care tax for those of you not educated enough to disbelieve chain email rumors and propaganda;

"...employers will be required to start listing the cost of insurance. The requirement starts for the tax year 2011, so employees will see it on the W-2s they receive in 2012. But that amount will not be taxed. Current law excludes health insurance from taxable income, and there's nothing in the health care law that changes that. Why is this provision in the law? It is there to assist the IRS in determining who has health insurance and who does not, because when health reform is fully implemented, there will be penalties for people who do not have health insurance and increased taxes starting in 2018 for the so-called "cadillac" plans -- plans that have a value above $10,200 for individuals and $27,500 for family policies."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/linda-bergthold/no-your-health-insurance_b_641937.html

Here is a comprehensive summary of the recently passed health care reform bill released by the Kaiser Foundation. There is nothing in it about taxing employer provided health insurance for all who receive it except for the "cadillac plans" whereby, according to the report, the federal government will;

"Impose an excise tax on insurers of employer-sponsored health plans with aggregate values that exceed $10,200 for individual coverage and $27,500 for family coverage (these threshold values will be indexed to the consumer price index for urban consumers (CPI-U) for years beginning in 2020)."

As a 50 year Republican and an Obama supporter I wish that the birthers and the commenters would use hard empirical or historical evidence and follow the rules of logic in their remarks. Criticizing the person rather than the arguments is the old 'ad hominem' fallacy.

If these people want to fight socialism why not start with Social Security and Medicare along with the health program.

Hi Mr. Wolf, That was the most pitiful excuse for a response to political discourse that I have ever had the displeasure to read. And, from the tone of the rant, you apparently consider yourself some sort of intellectual. What sort of diet pill do you use to "lean a FACT"?

Why is it that when someone supports the Obama they suddenly "hate America"? This is the big Tea Party Fallacy-a twist on George W. Bush's false dilemma of " If you're not with us you're with the terrorists" it is not simply one way or another. This is the domain of the ignorant, the uneducated and with the Tea Party, the intentionally illiterate.

When George W. Bush was in office we were told that we should support him (even though he was one of those intentionally unintelligent folks) simply because he was our President. Now, if we support Obama because he is our President we aren't "real" Americans and we hate our country. WRONG! It is entirely possible to support a President and still disagree with how he does things. It doesn't change the fact that you have to accept the fact that he is the President until the next election-and even then you may be stuck for another 4 years. It's how this grand American experiment works! Accept it and love it or practice what you preach and leave it.
