The GOP's "way to victory in the presidential, House, Senate, and local elections are to have a big tent." Is bad grammar the key to success?

The GOP's "way to victory in the presidential, House, Senate, and local elections are to have a big tent"? Is bad grammar the path to victory? I hope not. Maybe they should try walking softly and carrying a big stick. No sexual pun intended.

Ron Paul brings the conservatives (true ones, not neocons) the anti-war Dems, Indies, and the all important youth together.

No, Romney is just a white version of Obama- and we know how that works out.

What this nation needs to do is wise up and rally behind Ron Paul.

It's Paul, or none at all!

Shhh...don't tell them that!

I totally disagree with you, Mr. Epshteyn.

By now, most the country (as well as the entire world) is, by far and away, aware of the fact that the biggest reason Mr. Obama was elected in 2008 was because he is Black!

You speak of the term, "electability"....

In retrospect, what was Obama's qualifications that defined his "electability"??

He was a smooth-talking junior Senator from Illinois with "Hope and Change" on his lips. Anything else??? (....I don't think so!)

At that time, this man was able to harness mostly the Black and Black advocate vote, the feminine vote, and the "young and inexperienced" vote.

Now, the country is in economic shambles (the current U-3 National Unemployment rate is 8.3%, while the more defined, U-6 National Unemployment rate is 15.1%), there is STILL no national budget after 1024 days, which continues to render the Obama Administration and the Democrat Party to spend our $$$ like a drunken sailor (our current US Debt stands at $15.356 trillion and is still climbing exponentially), and, he continues on the march to dispell our First and Second Amendment rights like a Marxist (forcing his relentless agenda on religious groups, and his plan to relieve all of us of our right to bear arms)!

Most of the American voters are no longer "sheep" as you would presume as the wool over our eyes has been finally peeled off.

We want a new path to follow as the one Obama is leading us on only spells doom!

"Therefore, the GOP has a choice—it can either ride the Ricksanity train into November and face stunning losses both in the presidential and 'down ticket' elections or it can nominate Mitt Romney who not only presents a strong alternative to Barack Obama but will also help other Republicans running for office in 2012."

Really? I believe that the GOP has a responsibility to nominate the best man for the job of POTUS, which should be based on which person is the best choice to take our country in the right direction, not who has the best chance of winning nine months away from election day. The country has a fiscal and moral decision to make. Let them decide who is the best man for the job; Santorum or Obama. I'd love to see Santorum and Obama in a presidential debate. I think Santorum would wipe the floor with Obama.

"Studies show that the era of the split ticket voter is gone" Well, those "studies" must be flawed because I am one of those "split ticket" voters and will always remain so.
