Another day, another U.S. News article by someone who hates Republicans. Good job - go ahead and return Media Matters website for more newsworthy information!

"Doom for Republicans". Has a nice ring to it. I've always wanted to live in a One Party State like Mexico.

LIFETIME_GOP_VOTER, you are not fooling anyone. You have voted liberal all your life. Your ilk are easy to spot with all the capital letters you use.

Immoral people are incapable of " small government, lower taxes and national security." The constitution already demands all those things. Immoral people are imaginative when it comes to "re-interpreting" the law.So your arguments are moot. We are in this mess because we surrendered the morality war and we are being ruled by our "lessers."

Sidney Allen Johnson of AL 12:05PM February 18, 2012

US News is a liberal publication, and liberals will do anything they can to have Mitt Romney be the Republican nominee. Obama can't win on his failed record and voters want payback for Obamacare, so liberals are desperate for Mitt Romney to be the nominee because he is the only one they can beat. Sorry Libs...you won't be picking our candidate this time around.

This article is 100% correct. Santorum is a losing ticket for the GOP. I have voted bstraight R for 35 years and will vote for Obama before that psych Santorum.

Lifetime_GOP_Voter of IL 11:46AM February 18, 2012

Article short on quotes to support his statements. Santorum is not radical. Here is one.

“I didn’t vote for any kind of ban on contraception, nor did I vote for any ban on sodomies, nor would I as president,” he told CNN’s John King this week. “I don’t believe that everything that is immoral should be illegal. The government doesn’t have a role to play in everything that, you know, that either people of faith or no faith think are wrong or immoral. That was one. And I said it at the time that I wouldn’t have voted for the Texas sodomy law that was in place nor would I vote to ban contraception, even though I think that – as a Catholic who the Catholic Church teaches that contraception is wrong – I would not do it myself.” ~ Rick Santorum

I think gay women would still rather have a job even if it means putting up with Santorum's social babble rather then be out of work on food stamps just for a president who's views have been "evolving".

Why do NY Republicans think they understand the rest of the country. Hey dipsh•t Boris the latest polls have Santorum strongrer than your boy Dukakis er Kerry er I mean Romney.

Boris is a moron of CA 2:43AM February 18, 2012

Boris knows what he is talking about when he talks about a candidate being unelectable. He did work for McCain. But at that time, I don't suppose Boris would have listened to his own advise back then.

McCain was dead in the water until Sarah Palin came aboard. The week after her announcement as VP was the ONLY time McCain surged ahead of Obama in the polls.

But keep it up Boris, the completely inept national GOP party needs more of your type steering it into the rocks while still collecting a paycheck.
