White House Census Power Grab May Violate the Constitution

MY dear fellow Texan (Amrmanet06ofTX) I find it hard to understand what you mean by

my not understanding the constitution because I am living in Texas.

I am delighted that you have read history about our great founding

families.

I would think it might help you to read the constitution especially the part

which states that no man can be president unless his parents were

native born or naturalized Americans.

I remember this well from my parochial education. The founding

fathers were very afraid that a Englishman would come back and

take our country away and give it back to the King.

They did not want a foreign man who had not yet come to know the importance of

freedom - the only free country on our earth - to take our freedom away from us.

Now if you think I may be out of line you may want to research the over

40 lawsuits which have been filed against Obama requesting proof that he

is indeed legal and eligible to be president.

If you don't believe me or the constitution or if perhaps the consitution

is no longer of importance then perhaps you should

help Arnold Schwarzenegger become president.

Forgive me if I sound naive. But didn't he just 3 weeks ago, pledge to uphold the Constitution of the United States? Has he already forgotten that oath. I hope not, he did it two times to make sure it counted. I guess it is OK for him to change it. Maybe this is the change he promised!!!!! If so, we are in bigger trouble than we thought. I don't want to hear that Clinton did it. Well if he did, it was unconstitutional!!!!!!!

I mean *thank God the GOP is NOT being bipartisan* that is.

The big deal is that this directly impacts those senate seats and all the other seats in the government. Counting illegals, etc. giving electoral seats to blue states, etc. setting it up so he can satisfy his desire for his party's eternal reign. Big deal to me. Why the hell nominate Judd Gregg if he isn't allowing him to do the job. Because he wants gregg's seat while keeping him powerless and sticking it to the GOP. Thank God the GOP is being so "bipartisan" as Obama puts it. No, we're just not bending over anymore. Except for the 3 stooges who voted for generational theft bill.

Put this on the list of things we find out Obama and Co are doing to be reviewed in 2011 or so...anything and everything you see there will be geared toward his reelection and Socialization of the US. We will become another Europe, but probably a poor copy, as most of us have to have the tenets of Socializm forced on us in an arm twisting "stimulus" package...

just wait.

If it's unconstitutional is anyone going to challenge this and sue the White House ?

Paula Gold of FL 7:56AM February 10, 2009

Compared to who - Bush and his "team" who had no problems spying on Americans, kidnapping people and sending them to "friendly" countries to be tortured then holding them without charges on a military base claiming that because it was not on American soil that the laws of this country did not apply.

Where were you Constitutional worry warts on Bush's watch?

And to this day, the Bush lovers will defend his actions as "necessary" while accusing the Dems as capable of nefarious deeds...

The Republican Party has become a pathetic excuse of a political party.
