MCP Press Agency anticipated

the victory of the American leader.

Congratulations to the new President of USA, Barack Obama!

The brilliant result of the democrat Barack Obama, finalized through occupation of the Oval Chamber, brings to light also this time the power of the democracy which was predictable, not only a simple political slogan.

This model of democracy vitality proved clearly that Luther King's dream should had become a reality and that nothing is random.

So, the first Afro-American president, Barack Obama, declared in an impressive gathering that:

“I never had this much hope that we will win”.

For the representatives of the Organization which I represent, “MASS COMMUNCIATION POWER”, the motto: “With better peoples, the hope becomes reality!” can be surely confirmed also in Romania.

I recommend you to read also the Press Release of MCP Press Agency, from 15 of January 2007, called “In Memoriam of Dr. MARTIN LUTHER KING”.

A conclusive paragraph of the present press release, state the fact that: “the idea of civil society, cannot exist outside the civil rights in a democracy, and those have as central point, the personality of Dr. KING, with his life and activity”.

The material is displayed on the website “Curaj.Net – Exprima-te!”.

The same article is posted also on my blog – Blogger: User Profile: MIHAIL GEORGEVICI

Yours,

President of “MASS COMMUNICATION POWER” (WWW.mcppress.ro)

Mr. Geithner is either ignorant in his field or a thief. Either way it should disqualify him from the position of handling the people's money. We have had enough of these unethical people in government. They work for the people not the other way around and as an employee, I would not hire him with that record. Certainly there are many other people more qualified. If not, we as a country are in deep trouble. Ethics and morals have almost become extinct in the political arena.

I just finished emailing both of my Senators to vote no for the appointment of Timothy Geithner. We can complain all we want in these online comments but until everyone voices their opinion to their Senators we will not be able to block his appointment.

I agree with everyone who is appalled that a man who is nominated to run the IRS clearly dismisses his non-payment of taxes as an "oversite" or "honest mistake." We all know this is not true. There are other candidates who are honest, trustworthy and pay their taxes and maintian a patriotic lifestyle

How can people trust government if they put another theif as head of the treasury? Obama will lose all credibility if he doesnt fire Tim. Its like putting Bernie Madoff to head the treasury

Drop him Obama.

As a tax practitioner in California one of the hardest parts of my job is trying to convince clients to report ALL taxable income and not be "creative" with deductions. It would only make my job that much harder if I'm forced to explain why a client should fully comply with the tax code when the person responsable for overseeing the I.R.S Commissioner is eiter unable or unwilling to do the same.

Gary Steichen of CA 9:53AM January 19, 2009

We don't want to have anyone with a gray past to be on the Obama team and Geithner does! This is no way to start a "new" USA with the same old questionable people. I'm sure this is someone who pays his taxes more qualified.
