Mitch Daniels for President in 2012

I like Daniels and Gingrich. Romney is a democrat at heart. Look at his state health care which is like Obama's health care policy. Daniels and/or Gingrich are true Americans and I think they would lead with respect from all. Plus they would reduce government and balance the budget. Term limits should be initiated and no benefits after serving your time. I know of no other business a person can join and after 2 to 4 years receive full benefits. Our system is a bit backward at present. Let's return to the basics and common sense.

Not only to beat Democrats in 2012, but to govern wisely after the election, we need a strong, capable centrist candidate. Otherwise the long pendulum-swing from the Obama administration to the left will be matched by a long pendulum swing to the right and to the left and to the right. Each successive adminstration will spend its time and effort (and our money and safety) undoing what the previous administration did. That's not healthy for the nation or the world.

I am just starting to check him out, but Governor Daniels looks like a very capable, centrist candidate.

Daniels and Mitt Romney are my first two preferences for president. They may not have the charisma of Obama or Palin but they can make the presidential race competitive, Palin would not, and they’re each qualified to be president. I’d love a Daniels/Romney (or Romney/Daniels) ticket!
