Biden's Speech Was Pretty Standard and Uninspiring

His father's wife was not killed, HIS WIFE AND CHILD WERE! You are ill informed my friend! You Republicans are ludicrous. I wonder when you are going to communicate some real policies that will make a difference. Thank goodness the American people can see your pathetic attempts to salvage their reputation.....there are way too many negative zeros on Wall Street to do that.

You can't say Barone is unpredictable.

Beau Biden said it best. "The best of our days are behind us". Despite the other annoying grammatical errors in his Speech I would not have expected a slip this horrendous. Every year the candidates just get worse even when it seems impossible, they always find a way, it is truly the miracle that is American Politics that leaves large idealogical groups at the wayside in favor of the demographic that will not be comprehensive in their research, and take the initiative to make an informed decision. Also I love Dan C's rant accusing the author of bias when he clearly has a predisposition to promote liberal ideology as Beau Biden's speech was awful based on the main components that a speech should posses. Congrats, as the world can take comfort in knowing that the voters do adhere to the standards of mediocrity.

Why do people like Barone ever get to be paid to rehash the right wing propaganda machine as "opionons"? Pretty standard partisan stuff indeed. Or maybe not--it's not even up to that level. Does anybody really believe this crap? Are Americans that stupid? Is anybody else in the world? Somehow I can't believe it.

Until I have the 100 million dollar fortune that McCain has, I'm afraid I'm just not rich enough to see the "fairness" and non-partisan "balance" of Barone or rich enough to vote for poor little standard average man-on-the-street non-elitist working-class McCain.

Joe Biden believes that it is not his place as a public servant to impose his religious beliefs on others. I respect him for that.

I don't happen to share your Christian beliefs, but neither do I feel the need to force my beliefs upon Christians. I've seen what religious extremism does to the world and anyone who wishes to force an issue of his or her beliefs upon others who do not share them is an extremist in my book.

Pssh. At this point, I firmly believe that anyone who does not vote Obama, regardless of how Biden's speech was, is living under a rock (either too rich or too poor to really care about America's future in the world) or a hardcore racist who wouldn't vote for a Black person if his life depended on it. Sadly, there are a lot of those in America -- almost 50 percent, apparently!!

So I can't see the earlier 'bs' as anything other than mad partisan rambling.

I don't watch Democrat conventions. So I'm getting my news on the rebound. I did not know about Biden's personal history, and my respect for him edged a little above the "E" level. What a horrible tragedy to endure at what should be the greatest days of one's life - to lose your wife and daughter.

Then to purchase a house with your sister and raise the whole clan in a warm, family environment. And to return each night on the train. It makes you want to live next door.

I'm afraid I must ask, as I have this glowing tableau before me: What does Sen. Biden tell his Catholic family about his stance on abortion? That it's just politics? That the Pope is wrong? Just what, exactly, senator?

This is where cracks begin to form in the Biden family portrait. Sorry, but that's how it is.

Whatever you have to say, Mr. Barrone, is irrelevant. You couldn't carry water for Joe Biden. Interesting that I haven't seen you on the McLaughlin Group since you were there braying like an.....an....well you know what, one time about how George W. Bush tossed all of the Arabists out of service in Washington when he came in because they didn't agree with him. That's the kind of judgment that got us where we are in the Middle East! Didn't John McLaughlin ask you back after that?

Well, if it looks like an a** and it brays like an a** and it walks like an a**, chances are...............

By the way, we will be voting for Obama here in this house, now that he has shown the excellent judgment of picking Joe Biden for VP.

Have a nice day!

Baron has been a right wing hack for his whole professional life. His typical cotton candy analysis.

Some people don't know that "having" Iraq is like "having" a foreign luxury car. It's not the "investment" that the dealer said it was. It depreciates fast, and the maintenance costs several times what you imagined. Surge a transmission here and surge an engine there. It stops costing so much when you finally bite down hard and cut it loose, admitting your error.

Obama has been telling you the truth about this all along.
