Obama could be president of a Speech giving group but not as President of the United States. He's like thin ice, looks solid, but one step and you break thru.

its very tiring to hear McCain invoking his service to this country and being prisoner of war. No one is questioning that but he persist to it. One can question whether he will submit himself to any test that he is not a manchurian candidate.

all you democrats or "morons" anr gonna be sad when obama is not the president, this country will not elect a hussein over a war hero. and even if they would elect him it would not be long until they were sorry when they saw what happened to this country.

at the beginning of the race all polls had Mrs Clinton leading and here we are again, Republicans making as much noise as they can, I have only one advice to give, Please reflect on your finance and if you are better off today than 8yrs ago vote Republican

As we have already experienced, one of the worst factors in the election is the media, which creates the same type of hype produced by prospectors, which in turn is keeping gasoline pricing practically hitched to NASA spacecraft.

"And now it's McCain, pulling ahead by a margin! Wait! Wait! Oh my God! Oh my God! Obama is picking up speed...McCain looks surprised...he can't believe it! Obama's speed is too much. Oh, no! He stumbles! What a lucky break for McCain! He increases his lead..."

And so it shall be for the remainder of this electoral endeavor.

You'd think this was a horse race. Or a game show.

Don't play into the hype; be confident in your own judgement, supported by the facts. People (including the candidates) can SAY anything. For our part, let's restore thinking to the American mainstream. And decency. yes, the media can be so ugly at times, those Frantic Old eXtollers.

Those killjoy gas prospectors made false predictions, and so will the media...over and over again. For election results, rather than jumping to conclusions based on the media's reality-TV-like jibber-jabber, we'd be better off making our decisions, casting our votes, and simply - and excitedly - waiting until the train pulls into the station with the winner on board.

Let's all just see what happens when the train pulls into the station.

Me and my husband are optimistic to see changes when Sen. Barack is installed as President of America!! We can't afford anymore to try "THE SAME MENU BUT DIFFERENT INGREDIENT"!! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!! ENOUGH OF THE REPUBLICAN MANEUVERS! THE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO HELP THEM UPLIFT THE STANDARD OF LIFE, SHOULDN'T BE WASTED TO THIS "IRAQ WAR"!! INNOCENT CIVILIANS ARE THE ONES SACRIFICED TO THIS UNREASONABLE FIGHT!! Sen. McCain once said that he would end the war of Iraq triumphant and victorious!! With what??? With casualties of innocent blood?? WHAT A WASTE OF LIVES OF OUR SOLDIERS, TOO!!
