Nor are most English speaking Americans. Referring to all English speakers as Anglo makes as much sense as me calling all Latinos "Spanish". Most don't trace their roots to Spain, just as I, a Celt, do not trace my roots to England. It's offensive. The word you're all attempting to use is "ANGLOPHONE". Would you call a Francophone Haitian "French"? Probably not.
