'The Singing Revolution' Documentary Released in Theaters

April 21, 2008 RSS Feed Print

One of the most wondrous events of recent history was the nonviolent revolution of the Estonian people against the Soviet Union. I will have more to say about this wonderful film, but I wanted to give Washington-area readers a heads-up, since it's showing there.

I was in Estonia last December. I wish I had seen this film before I went; it would have immeasurably enhanced an already wonderful experience.
