I cant believe this man calls himself a minister! Obama sat there for 20 years listening to him can we even take the chance he feels this way? Everyone he associates himself with is questionable. These people could end up as his cabinet members!

It amazes me how easily some americans can be persuaded to vote for a muslim. Not long ago muslims attacked our country and took over 3000 lives with them. their mission is to destroy the united states and the american people. When the twin towers were hit , there were record numbers of bibles being sold around the United States, because people were afraid of the muslim world, and now they will pull levers for them. American with fear readily called for Gods help And comfort. They didnt call on Allah, the Muslim nation, or the devil. Why is that !!! Because they KNow the truth and the power of 1 true living GOD, but will not pursue it.. God said HATE what is evil and LOVE what is good, he could'nt have made it any clearer. It's time As Americans we all do just what he instructs. We would overcome all political evil doer's and attempts to destroy this once great Nation. It's sad that so many people have died in vain for what this country is fast becoming, a Muslim ruled nation. We have 1 chance to take hold of this country before it is taken from us . Don't think for one minute it can't happen. I never would have dreamed of what is happening today because of shear ignorance. Wake up people!!!!!

I heard his speech. As a white person I could relate to people's dismay

for what he said. However as a person who comes from a family who's

ancestors were a mix of anti slavery activists on one side of the family

and profound racists on the other I could also relate to his words. The

hypocracy of it all amazed me! It also confused and angered me.

Knowing there is a cuitural mix in my own family I couldn't understand

how this antipathy towards non-whites came about. What were it's

roots? Was it ignorance? Or was it hate? Which came first. The chicken

or the egg?

What I am about to say would make some or at least most of my ancestors

roll over in their graves. But I have to say it.Reverend Wright was right. It is

well past time that our white ancestors reconciled this truth.Without quoting the

reverend there is and has always been white privilage to the point where

families with Indian ancestry could not mention that to *ANYONE lest

they be shot or killed! Remembering what one ancestor said about some

relatives "Too bad they are part Indian". I didn't know what he mean't by

that and was afraid to ask. Did he mean too bad **they** are Indian because

of how hard their lives are OR did he just hate them for being Indian because

it was the popular thing of the day to do, Indians being considered by the

white population as the lowest of the low.

Then there is the discriminated against disenfranchized Blacks,

Mexicans, and other minorites. Who have we been kidding?

This has been going on for far longer than the 20 years

Senator Obama had attended Revernd Wright's Church!

So why now is the white public so surprised at learning

of what has been in the Black Church for the last

500 years of it's existance ever since this country first brought

blacks over here against their will?

When will we as the privilaged race ever listen and

learn about our horrific past without shooting the messenger?

Sincerely,

Kristina Owen

I believe that rev.wright has had an enormous affect on Barack Obama throught out the election. Rev. Wright had no reason judging the United States but then again free speech!

Noted Sheila Lister's (of TX) comments. Don't understand her. Is racism real in this country? Yeah. And, you can see a preacher preaching it. She's exactly right: Acknowledge it (racism) - just not selected pieces - all of it.

Obama owes Americans no apology or no one else . he can not be held accountable for what Rev Wright said. Rev. has a right to say what ever he want to,

the same as each one of you, freedom of speech.some of you may not agree with

what he said. but a great deal of what he said is true.

I hear Hillary saying that she would have left the church if that had been her pastor.

Bill have have had many, many affairs before Monica. even when he was attorney general of Arkansas to the president. Everyone in the world knew about him having oral sex with Monica and Hillary did not leave Bill. But she can say what Obama should have done.

Also I would like to know how much Hillary and Bill paid Rev. Wright for his services. Bill said that they will win at all cost, maybe this is some of what he meant.

Obama owes a MAJOR apology to all Americans' because of his minister! NO WAY will I vote for Obama because of this damage besides the fact he is all talk with NO EXPERIENCE! Are people really "dumb as sheep"? WAKE UP AMERICA!

When Rev. Pat Robertson said the 911 attacks were God's wrath against America for gays, feminists and the ACLU, no one batted an eye! Isn't that like saying God DAMNED America?! Does that mean if we were more like Arabic countries where women "stay in their place" 911 wouldn't have occurred? Preachers should be treated like your drunk Uncle who always says crazy things but no one in your family listens.
