December 27th mark a historical event, as our beloved leader, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto departed from this world. This day is commemorated as a day of democratic victory. One year has passed to her assassination, but she is still attached to our hearts and feelings. Although, there were many threats to her life, but even then, she fought the battle against the corrupted people of our country with courage. She was not only the daughter of the east, but she was the true mother of the nation, who always treated nation as her children, and did many things for the reformation of the people as a mother. She was the intellectual treasure for us. She was the voice of many unheard voices. She never learnt to back out of any thing. She fought till the last breath to show her iron will and determined mission to work for humanity. She was brutally assassinated because of her good will and great thoughts to build our nation stronger. After Lady Diana and Mother Theresa, she is considered as an International icon and role models for many people. We salute her courage, bravery, talent, leadership qualities and her positive motives for our nation.

Mourners still weep inconsolably and beat their chests, because such leaders are born rarely. It was a cowardly act to kill a democratic lady. Loosing such a great women makes us feel as if one of the family members of each of our family has passed away. We must continue her mission with dignified morals.

May her soul rest in eternal peace

i agree alot with all aazeen, aisha and faisal. All they're points are correct. Aazeen's conclusion are also quite correct as i am a journalist and have been with this case for quite a time. i really am sad. I was also 1 of Benazir Bhuttos big fans. I have even met her in person. She was a lovely lady and she will stay with us always in our hearts and memories. As god always takes the good people from us quickly.

i was in Pakistan when i found out that Benazir Bhutto passed away, she was the best women leader of all times, i am 14 years old! When i was in Pakistan, i was sitting with my family and other relatives and the news was on then suddenly we saw (on geo news) that Benazir Bhutto had been bombed. I was terrified as i have been one of her fans. When i found out about this i was on my holiday from England and because of this very very tragic event even the flights were cancelled and all the shops were closed (in Pakistan). I dont no who did this and why? all i no is that whoever did it hated Benazir, they were close to her and they knew quite about her, and most importantly they had so much jealousy in their head. I have a suspect in my mind who might have killed her. If that person is really the killer he will get so much "goona" that he should be punished a lot. That suspects name is Asif Ali Zardari. He is so mean he even left his friendship (with Nawaz Sharif)ust to be more better. I really dont like Zardari and he did very wrong. I feel sorry for his son Bilal who has to put up with this embarassment, but Bilal Bhutto is a very nice and kind person so he will be able to stay strong and suceed in good things. I am also his fan too. I am just very sad about this event, but Pakistan is the best and to stay the best us Pakistani's should NEVER give up! And stay strong always!
