$10-15 BUCKS PER WEEK. HUH...

As lefty dem shill PFenn tries to make lefty dem shill hay over a $10-15 bucks per week issue before the inevitable happens -- yet another no-choice cave by Obama and da dems -- I'd rather consider the billions per week $$$ benefits to the economy and every taxpayer along with it from a Paul presidency.

For math-challenged lefty dem shill PFenn -- so challenged by occupational choice of course -- a single billion per week $$$ benefit to the economy would be the same as 67,000,000 to 100,000,000 $10-15/week things.

Those billions per week $$$ benefits to the economy and every taxpayer along with it from a Paul presidency would include:

A much-sooner rather than later end to Bushobama's Af-Pak, now that Bushobama's Iraq is over. Except for that largest diplomatic presence thing in fortress Baghdad, and the private army of 5,500 mercs to secure that largest diplomatic presence thing.

And no Bachmannesque chicken-hawk jump to unite tens of millions of otherwise freedom-desiring Iranians with their screwball leaders through military action against Iran.

And a trillion-dollar downsize of all things federal in the first year alone of a Paul presidency.

It's just like Paul's political ad says it is. The dems and repubs both bark like rotts, as do their lefty/righty shills. But when it's time to stop the grinnin' and drop the linen, they're all bunch of frou-frou $10-15/week shitzoos.

Ron Paul, 2012. The biggest, most economy-stimulating shovel-ready project for 2013 will be that of leaving the dead lefty and righty dem/rep shills to bury each other while the rest of us move on to much-better things via a Paul presidency.

Pf _ Don't read. Disproves you. Don't want heart attack taking your life. He wrote:

“If the House Republicans are responsible for raising taxes this year on the middle class, taking $1,500 out of their pockets as a little Christmas present, they will send the very clear message that they do the bidding of the millionaires and billionaires but put coal in the stocking of working families.”

1.Is not raising tax. Is money that pays for social security. By the way, how was this paid for when it started ? Remember PAY AS YOU GO.

2. Your soul called “millionaires and billionaires” pay far more than their fair share. Making up for the bottom 40 % that pay NOTHING. EVEN WITH Bush tax cuts that all levels got.

“Republicans cannot make the argument that they are so concerned about the deficit that they want to shackle the middle class but let the wealthiest of Americans continue to get hundred of thousands of dollars in tax breaks that "are not paid for!"

It DID NOT COST GOVERNMENT REVENUE. TAX CUTS FOR RICH INCREASED REVENUE. Surprised you brought up that losing saying. Too much liberal tv news. Not enough in-depth studying:

“The tax cuts of the 1920s”

“Tax rates were slashed dramatically during the 1920s, dropping from over 70 percent to less than 25 percent. What happened? Personal income tax revenues increased substantially during the 1920s, despite the reduction in rates. Revenues rose from $719 million in 1921 to $1164 million in 1928, an increase of more than 61 percent.”

“The Kennedy tax cuts”

“President Hoover dramatically increased tax rates in the 1930s and President Roosevelt compounded the damage by pushing marginal tax rates to more than 90 percent. Recognizing that high tax rates were hindering the economy, President Kennedy proposed across-the-board tax rate reductions that reduced the top tax rate from more than 90 percent down to 70 percent. What happened? Tax revenues climbed from $94 billion in 1961 to $153 billion in 1968, an increase of 62 percent (33 percent after adjusting for inflation).”

“According to President John F. Kennedy:”

“Our true choice is not between tax reduction, on the one hand, and the avoidance of large Federal deficits on the other. It is increasingly clear that no matter what party is in power, so long as our national security needs keep rising, an economy hampered by restrictive tax rates will never produce enough revenues to balance our budget just as it will never produce enough jobs or enough profits… In short, it is a paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high today and tax revenues are too low and the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now.”

“The Reagan tax cuts”

“Thanks to "bracket creep," the inflation of the 1970s pushed millions of taxpayers into higher tax brackets even though their inflation-adjusted incomes were not rising. To help offset this tax increase and also to improve incentives to work, save, and invest, President Reagan proposed sweeping tax rate reductions during the 1980s. What happened? Total tax revenues climbed by 99.4 percent during the 1980s, and the results are even more impressive when looking at what happened to personal income tax revenues. Once the economy received an unambiguous tax cut in January 1983, income tax revenues climbed dramatically, increasing by more than 54 percent by 1989 (28 percent after adjusting for inflation).”

“According to then-U.S. Representative Jack Kemp (R-NY), one of the chief architects of the Reagan tax cuts:”

“At some point, additional taxes so discourage the activity being taxed, such as working or investing, that they yield less revenue rather than more. There are, after all, two rates that yield the same amount of revenue: high tax rates on low production, or low rates on high production.”

2) “The rich pay more when incentives to hide income are reduced.”

“The tax cuts of the 1920s”

“The share of the tax burden paid by the rich rose dramatically as tax rates were reduced. The share of the tax burden borne by the rich (those making $50,000 and up in those days) climbed from 44.2 percent in 1921 to 78.4 percent in 1928.”

“The Kennedy tax cuts”

“Just as happened in the 1920s, the share of the income tax burden borne by the rich increased following the tax cuts. Tax collections from those making over $50,000 per year climbed by 57 percent between 1963 and 1966, while tax collections from those earning below $50,000 rose 11 percent. As a result, the rich saw their portion of the income tax burden climb from 11.6 percent to 15.1 percent.”

“The Reagan tax cuts”

“The share of income taxes paid by the top 10 percent of earners jumped significantly, climbing from 48.0 percent in 1981 to 57.2 percent in 1988. The top 1 percent saw their share of the income tax bill climb even more dramatically, from 17.6 percent in 1981 to 27.5 percent in 1988.”

Bush

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

I completely agree; the lunatics, led by Eric Cantor, are doing whatever they can to get unreasonable concessions from Democrats, even if it means running the country into the ground in the meantime. John Boehner's days as speaker are clearly numbered. I'm sick of these Republicans who clearly have no agenda other than feeble, disingenuous attempts to make Obama and the Democrats look bad. Wasn't it Mitch McConnell who said that the Number 1 job of the Republican 112th Congress was to make sure President Obama is re-elected, at any cost? No wonder this country is such a mess. It's time reasonable Republicans work with Obama, not against him at all cost!

THOMAS MARC LITTON of CA 9:10PM December 20, 2011

I've read several articles now and not one has told me what is in the bill. The media are the ones dividing this country. Give me the facts please so I can make my own mind up as to who is to blame.

Hoo boy! We have a live one!

"The republican party are nothing but KKK without the white sheeets."

Umm - it was the Dems who founded the KKK.

"the are trying to put minorities and the middle and lower socio-economic class in servitude and they won't be happy until its done."

Proof?

"Do they want another civil war"

Why? Is someone threatening to succeed?

" They are also trying to change the voting rights bill."

How? By making sure that only real citizens (who are actually alive) can vote?

Someone leave the asylum door open a bit too long this morning?

john boehner seems like a nice enough person.the kind of person that one wouldn;t mind sitting next t at the bar and sharing a drink and a cigarette with.that being said his leadership as speaker of the house has been abysmal.

this is in no small part do to the fact that he is dealing with some unbalanced members of his own party ( the far right wackos ) who are recalcitrant to put it mildly.

bruce b of NV 6:48PM December 20, 2011

The republican party are nothing but KKK without the white sheeets. the are trying to put minorities and the middle and lower socio-economic class in servitude and they won't be happy until its done. Do they want another civil war? They are also trying to change the voting rights bill. How dare them!!!! I wish I could have what I have to say go to some of them or tell them face to face - We need to vote them all out. They are dangerous!!!! I would like to find a forum where they would see or hear how we want them out of office and how upset the average joe the 99% of the citizens are upset with them. They really are devils.

Jenny Harris of MO 6:24PM December 20, 2011

Amazing - Congressional members who are actually standing up for what their constituents elected them for! Whoda thunk it?

Pretty fully to start blaming the repubs for the current fiasco - the Dems have had the majority for 3+ years now in the Senate, and they have yet to actually pass a budget or a bill reforming SS, Mediscare, etc, as the country is desperate to get done.

Yea - the repubs aren't totally without fault in Washington, but for people like Fenn bruce B., etc, to keep blaming solely the repubs is the height of stupidity.

junior of DC 5:38PM December 20, 2011

I thought that the Republicans in the House elected him Majority Leader Not Dictator. That means you follow the dictates of all of your members.

Chung of VA 4:40PM December 20, 2011

It's about time politicians stood up for what we sent them to Congress for! Keep up the good work. These 60 - 90 day extensions are ridiculous! How two faced of Harry Reid to not bring back the Senate when Obama was planning to play king and keep everyone in DC to pass the bill he wants. Keep up the heat and the good work! Balance the budget like most American households have to do! We don't need to become Europe!
