So 47% of the population based upon your own numbers qualifies as fringe? I think you need a new dictionary and should look up your words before you misuse them like this. You can disagree with the opposing view, and that's fine. But to call it fringe just because it's not your view shows a lack of any sense of reality.

Should gay marriage be legal nationwide? God forbid! Perry very much represents the overwhelming majority of Americans who strongly oppose gay marriage. Rick Perry will be the next president of the United States.

with the economy in shambles,the country involved and two wars ( unfunded) and with each day a greater gap between middle income and the well off. not too many people care that much about same sex marriage.
