Pelosi..."We need to pass the bill so we can see what's in it"

Reid..."The income tax is voluntary"

Biden..."Tea Party members are terrorists"

Mr. Fenn, you (and these lost souls) have no credibility, no discernible contact with reality. Please, no more of your lies and idiocy. I pray that enough Americans wake up and retire the lot of you.

It had to be said because its obviously and absolutely true for all to see.

the tea party which may have started with lofty and noble ideas has become the roosting place for the unbalanced and reality challenged members of the far right and their unrealistic stance on raising the debt ceiling and taxes.

this group is spear headed by that pied piper of fantasy island grover norquist.grover has turend being absurd into a cottage industry.

Joe Wilson didn't shout, "You lie!" during a SOTU address. It was during an address to Congress re: HCR.

I gotta ask, Chris....if the existence of the Tea Party is about the GOP straying so far from it's values, then why did they not exist until Obama occupied the White House? It seems to me the Republicans were straying from those so called values long before that.

barry been in 57 States. barry goes further into """ denial """

peter finn ask;s if the republicans are serious with their scorched earth policy of wanting to bring the country to it's knees over raising the debt ceiling

unfortunately the answer seems to be yes.the few moderates left in the g.o.p.( especially in the house ) are vastly out numbered by members of the radical right.

the newly elected members are being led by a contingency of unbalanced, lunatic older members the likes of michele bachmann, steve king, louie gohmert.ect.

these republicans live in the 51st state, thats the state of denial.

Unfortunately I have seen far more hatred directed AT THEM than I see coming FROM THEM. (Reference Zachary's comments above, do you not see the hatred in that?) The Tea Party has been in existence for barely 2 years so for anybody to say that they have any blame in the sorry state of our nation is laughable. They are yet to sign a bloated budget or a corporate subsidy stimulus package or an economy crushing healthcare bill. If the republican party is in trouble then blame the republicans that got them there. If the GOP had not strayed so far from its values the Tea Party would not have had to exist. You are right about one thing, we do have a historic opportunity to turn this nation around and you want to entrust the very people and the very ideas that got us here to do it. Are YOU serious?

I am 67 years old, still working, sent 2 kids thru college without one dime from the goverment. Been un-employed, never drawn un-employment check, never received food stamps, have had 2 wrecks in my life, both times the other parties had no liability insurance.

Paid taxes every year, Peter Fenn will not like me, because I like the Tea Party.

Peter Fenn, you are a card carrying idiot.

ps. my brothers and I had to pool our money to bury our parents, we had no income off the backs of slaves.

Cantor’s disdain for our country is obvious, and his devotion to the wealthy and the corporations is now made perfectly clear for all to see. It seems he would rather see our country default on its obligations rather than cede an inch on principles that have no basis in reality, and no precedent in our history. Listen, these are the same guys who, along with colleagues on both sides of the aisle, raised the Debt Ceiling many, many times in the last decade. Not once did they tie it to budget or spending cuts. But suddenly Cantor has fiscal principles that he can’t compromise on? It just doesn’t wash! ......and clearly, TomW of WA is an extremist. He disagrees with you. Duck !

These morons who are driven by LABELS and hate:

1. You don't agree with me? You're a RINO. You're a liberal. You're a democrat. We hate you.

2. You don't go to my church? We hate you.

3. Your skin color is different? We hate you.

4. You're not from around here? We hate you.

What do you do when the other guy is a madman and intends to get out his guns if he doesn't win enough of the votes?

God bless the USA. God help us.
