Tea Party Funding Koch Brothers Emerge From Anonymity

I read this article with interest until the Tea Party cartoons came up. Why must we bash a group of people that are actually trying to change things in this country? OK, so you don't agree with them, start your own organization and have meaningful debate. This country must adapt, and neither of the 2 parties have a clue. I am fine with a 4 party system. I don't love that the Soros' and Koch's are involved in either of the power-grubbing, money hungry, middle-class-eliminating, factions that currently exist. Instead of recognizing this fact, this article jumped on the bashing boat and denigrated any credibility it could have had. Too bad. It's time for meaningful discussion, and if you are fine with the current people throwing your money down the sewer and flushing it to China, ruining Americas extremely poor retirement system, and screwing up our already screwed up HellCare System then OK I get where you are coming from. When is it exactly that every "reporter" has chosen to become an editorialist? I suppose it is simpler just to throw out words instead of actually doing research to solve these problems.

How can you criticize the influence of the Koch brothers and not mention George Soros? He has directly funded nearly 150 liberal organizations. He made it his life mission to prevent the re-election of GWB. If you scream and complain about ANYTHING the Kock brothers do, I would expect to hear the same treatment about George Soros. Otherwise you come off as nothing but a biased political hack with no sense of reality.

At 70 they are near to meeting their maker and will be forced to face truth then; for now their personal hand baskets are made of the finest metal, platinum.

Back in the 1990's I was on the Village Board in Plover WI when we got a call about a Koch Brothers pipeline leak in the Village next to a new subdivision. They intentionally lied at first about the amount of the spill;but I bet they know exactly how many gallons of fuel are in those lines all the time. That is their money.

They have to buy politicians; it is an integral part of the business they deal in. If they want me to quit repeating this story I will be waiting for my check.

I just happen to remember signing vouchers every month; for the cost of remediation services, which were needed after that incident;for years. They are huge polluters . Bought and paid for politicians helps them stay in business.Plain and simple to me.

The Tea Party does say that it is non affiliated with any party and seeks candidates from all sides of the political spectrum.

At a Myrtle Beach Tea Party gathering last year someone on stage praising the efforts of the party's loyalty by stating that they were "The Breath of the Republican Party".

For any attempts by a candidate of another party for a Tea Party endorsement were met by the "Spins" of various heads of the local Republican parties who are members of the Tea Party as well.

A lone Democrat met their ideals while a GOP candidate did not.

The Democrat is Anti-Obama, Pro-life, Pro-gun, Anti-illegal Alien Workers. Henceforth no endorsement for that one office.

This year will be their third Tax Rally at Chapin Park. The MBTP is already 2 for 2 on not allowing anyone affiliated with the Democrat party from speaking at the podium.

When are tea party activists going to wake up and realize they are being manipulated by these people who couldn't care less about them. Seriously, I can respect their beliefs, but they are following and electing a bunch people who are using them for their own gain.

Well - Somebody paid to bus people from Virginia to Madison to support Scott Walker in the recent troubles with Wisconsin's teacher's unions. I don't think too many folks have the means to go state hopping that way. These people were described as tea party people. Many were not local. I've met some tea party people. Quite frankly, I don't think they are very bright. Somebody is pushing them along. Rich people have the means to hire others to manipulate a fraction of the population. That's what advertising is for. It certainly is plausible.

The Kochs and their pawn are traitors to humanity. The Kochs shouldn't be allowed a moments peace until the grave for the appalling damage they have done to our country, and to the world. Taking advantage of the stupid may have been a brilliant tactical idea, but it's going to crash and burn before long, and I want to see that day soon.

Americans for Prosperity, FreedomWorks, and Citizens for a Sound Economy were around as conservative groups LONG before the modern tea party first one in 2007 December 16th to be exact (started by the Ron Paul movement).

Americans for Prosperity, FreedomWorks, and Citizens for a Sound Economy ARE NOT TEA PARTIES!!!

This article is a joke.
