BillMO is a example of a Bush Fanatic who doesn't care about facts, the deficit or reality.

Now that Republicans are holding the country hostage to enlarge the deficit for tax cuts to the rich that do not create jobs and shift more debt to the next generations.

The policies of the Bush Administration were a disaster for our economy and left in the massive recession, second only to the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Bill, all you links to your political porn doesn't change the fact that this country lost millions of jobs during the Bush Administration and we also lost much of our industrial manufacturing base.

So you just keep on losing your mind believing the Bush was the best thing since the invention of sliced bread, but the rest of the country knows who screwed the country.

... And the Republicans are still bent on the bad policies that are bankrupting the country and some idiots go along with anything blindly.

“The US budget deficit tripled in Obama’s first year in office.

The unemployment rate nearly doubled.”

“The Congressional Budget Office estimate, while expected, is bad news for the White House and its allies in Congress as they press ahead with health care overhaul legislation that could cost $900 billion over the next decade.”

You haven disproven nothing. About what you comment is worth...

Bill Hedges of MO 8:11PM December 10, 2010

hey bill i can make a website right now depicting myself as god. Would that be sufficient proof that I was god? You can continue to go to your republican driven propaganda sites and try to pass them as proof. But they mean as much as a pile of dog sh*t in someones front yard. For god sakes get a job, spending 10 hours a day on this site does not make you an expert, it makes you worthless.

Recession was caused by Clinton's housing plan to unqualified home buyers:

"Democrats caused the recession and Republicans tried to stop it"

"Almost no one realizes that this entire subprime lending mess was created by the Community Reinvestment Act, which was passed by President Carter, a Democrat, in 1977. Later on in the 1990s, Bill Clinton, another Democrat, passed laws to enforce the original bill. The purpose of the CRA is to force banks to make risky loans to people who can’t afford to repay those loans."

Clinton housing bubble busted on Bush watch, but he warned beginning first year in office:

Bush tax cuts increased government revenue 4.06%, did not reduce governemt revenue:

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

America suffered severe job losses under the Bush Tax Cuts over the last decade and now some knuckleheads want to extend them by loading up more debt on the country's credit card.

"Zero net job creation" under the past decade with the Bush Tax Cuts!

Stop the extortion, the ransom is too high to hold the country hostage to give away frivolous tax cuts for billionaires.

Call your representatives to to kill the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts.

When has Democrats “pay for” since they passed PAY AS YOU GO. Except in futuristic cuts. Years down the line. When they can conveniently forget or amend.

“The chart above compares the President’s budget deficit projections to the Congressional Budget Office’s budget deficit projections under current law. In other words, the policy changes embodied in President Obama’s 2011 Budget puts our country $2.5 trillion deeper in debt by 2020 than it other wise would be if current law were left unchanged.”

http://blog.heritage.org/2010/02/05/past-deficits-vs-obamas-deficits-in-pictures/

“Heritage analyst Brian Riedl has pointed out, given that Obama has already helped quadruple the deficit with his stimulus package, pledging to halve it by 2013 is hardly ambitious. .”

“What’s driving Obama’s unprecedented massive deficits? Spending. Riedl details:””

“President Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion through 2008. President Obama would add another $1 trillion.

President Bush began a string of expensive financial bailouts. President Obama is accelerating that course.

President Bush created a Medicare drug entitlement that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade. President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on a new government health care fund.

President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation. President Obama would double it.

President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. President Obama has already increased this spending by 20 percent.

President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers. President Obama would continue that trend.

President Bush presided over a $2.5 trillion increase in the public debt through 2008. Setting aside 2009 (for which Presidents Bush and Obama share responsibility for an additional $2.6 trillion in public debt), President Obama’s budget would add $4.9 trillion in public debt from the beginning of 2010 through 2016.”

“UPDATE: Many Obama defenders in the comments are claiming that the numbers above do not include spending on Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush years. They most certainly do. While Bush did fund the wars through emergency supplementals (not the regular budget process), that spending did not simply vanish. It is included in the numbers above.”

To the post above, you are correct it is not the government that funds this, it is taxpayer funded. Most of the States coffers for unemployment are dry. We are now up to 99 weeks of unemployment benefits, and now these fools are tacking on another 13 months. The Nation is bankrupt. We are not far away from Greece, Ireland and many others and will have these programs cut in one fashion or another. It is on the horizon and if we do not stop spending and borrowing it will bring the Nation to its knees.
