Clarence Thomas Is the One Who Should Apologize, Not Anita Hill

Ms. Hill was brave enough to expose this misogynist in an area where such behaviour would be waved away. That Ginny in her probably ginned state cannot live with this is really her own fault.

1. Ms. Hill took a polygraph test and passed- Thomas refused

2. other women wanted to testify but were blocked by the powerful backers of this man

3. now we have the forthcoming memoirs from a former flame who has said that the Thomas she knew fitted in with the allegations made against him.

Ginny chose to stay with a pervert and has to lie on that bed and deal with it rather than drag a wronged woman (that is her claim and she stands by it and more power to her) through this cowardly call hidden as an olive branch but is infact a passive aggressive act.

Ms. Hill cannot be forces to assuage Ginny's insecurities (or could she have just been a tool to deflect the disclosure of the undisclosed funding?).

My daughter and I remained glued to the TV set for the entire hearing while the river of denial flowed through the Senate and House of Representatives and the Supreme Court. Anita Hill was indeed a class act. It takes a lot of courage to be the bell ringer, regardless of subject and whether male or female.

A woman always knows the truth if she really WANTS to know. Surely Ginny knew more confirmation was coming through the current issue of a major and generally well respected magazine.

I find it interesting the choice of one significant word chosen by ginny thomas. In her so called quest for an apology, she implied Ms. Hill did something "with my husband" rather than "to my husband". The world is talking about the allegations Ms. Hill made about clarence. I think ginny is talking about something else. Asking someone what they did "with" another is totally different than asking someone what they did "to" someone. Ginny and clarence are obviously referring to something that we (the public, pundits and analysts) are not aware of. Because from reading and remembering the actual hearings, Ms. Hill did not discuss anything that she and clarence did together. The reference point was always what he did to her or what she did to him. Never, never was there any discussion of what they did together. I wonder why the pundits and analysts have not commented on her odd choice of word. 'm just saying.

I find it interesting that no one seems to have captured the odd choice of words ginny thomas used. There is a significant statement being made when she wants an apology for what she says Ms. Hill did "with my husband". She did not use "to my husband". "With" means that Ms. Hill and clarence did something together. Had she used "to" then it would mean that Ms. Hill did something directed at clarence. Wonder why the pundits and analysts have not discussed that significant oddity in this whole thing? I'm just saying.

I watched every minute of those hearings. Thomas was lying through his teeth. He is a pervert and perjurer. It sounds like his wife is seeking some kind of assurance her husband is not exactly what she knows him to be. She has to know he is a pervert. If she believed he wasn't she would have never kicked this dog. She has opened up a wound that this time isn't going to heal over the way she thinks. And who knows, maybe there is another woman about to come forward! It's time for justice for the Justice, it's time for Anita Hill to be vindicated.

Lillian McEwen, a retired prosecutor, law professor and administrative law judge, discussed her intimacy with Thomas in a lengthy television interview Friday with reporter Rebecca Cooper of ABC affiliate WJLA in Washington, D.C.

"He was obsessed with pornography," McEwen told Cooper. "It was something he talked about quite frequently."

McEwen's comments appear to bolster testimony by Hill, who alleged Thomas sexually harassed her by graphically describing his interest in porn.

Typical, eh??

I can't disagree with your article. It's Clarence Thomas – not Anita Hill – who needs to apologize. Yet the list is incomplete. Ginny Thomas must also apologize. She must apologize for being a self indulgent idiot. She has singlehandedly replaced Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas with, "Who has put pubic hair on my Coke?" Clarence Thomas.

Clarence Thomas LOVED to talk porn but denied having ever seen a SINGLE porn film. Anita Hill just wanted to go on the record about what she experienced but when the news frenzy occurred, took and passed a lie detector. ONE of the two is a liar and the other is not - why didn't Clarence take a lie detector test? And why did he block the committee from accessing his video rental records? (The video store manager just said he couldn't say but that it was 'interesting' - certainly didn't back up Clarence's claims).

Law schools are fairly tight communities, and as such, I personally know people who said (1) Clarence was a pig where women and porn were concerned and (2) Anita's Yale Law classmate said she was a total class act - no one reading this can rely on this stranger's statement, unverifiable, but in weighing common sense, it's pretty clear that Anita told the truth.

This guy needs to resing his seat for the lies and shame he has done to the supreem court, and calling Miss Hill a lying whore. Shame on the people who put him in office. Get rid of the sex pervert !!!!

Anita Hill took and passed a lie detector test about her testimony. It seems appropriate for Clarence Thomas to do the same. Do we really want a Supreme Court Justice who lies under oath?
