It,s the mark of of a small mind, that a certain poster, who shall remain nameless, feels the need to continually regurgitate the same thread bare talking points. one would suspect this is done in vain attempt to convince himself ,of the validly of his argument.

If we all chose not to have a career, can we all stay home?. That's what's not so enticing about this whole "stay-at-home" choice discourse. It doesn't ring right. If I recall, I have not met anyone who claims that they really like working any job. We work out of neccesity and seldom by choice. Every woman at child bearing age would prefer to be off work while nursing an offspring but how many get to make that choice? That's the discourse but then again this is more like a turntable, everyone is spinning it I suppose. So much for substance.

To the person who keeps resorting to name-calling--how sad and childish. In response to the article: the key here is CHOICE. How many poor mothers of children even HAVE a choice to stay at home? Especially if single? And, yet, I applaud those who bravely MAKE the choice to stay at home IF IT IS THEIR CHOICE, because isn't that what the movement was--and should still be--about? There are some who make sacrifices to stay home with their children, and some who are financially able to do so. But, again, it should be by choice. I deplore the derogatory terms, "stay at home mom" or "housewife" applied to these women just because they choose to follow a different path. The Women's Movement was not just so women would have to have careers, but that they would be able to if they so chose. It was to open more doors, not to irrevocably lock others behind them. How anti-woman to think otherwise, to think that the only choice we have now, as women, is to follow the path of the author or Ms. Rosen.

This article, and all the others written, are simply more examples of class envy. I guess the left will never be happy until we all have equal amounts of wealth. So, they're destined to be miserable ad infinitum. The real story here is that people should be left alone to make their own, personal choices. Kind of like the Obama's sending their daughters to the rich school, instead of the public one. Ouch, the truth hurts!

PChurch of OK _ Ann has MS too...

You don’t have to worry about health care because Democrats PASSED BUMCARE. ALL YOUR WORRIES SOLVED from then on. Why was/are polls against before & after passage up to and including now ? CBO says will destroy us.

Take mrs. buma and her last job working in hospital. She got big title and big $$$ raise in NEW JOB POSITION. Unfortunately the $$$ 1 million PORK for hospital offered up by Sen. buma failed to pass. When Mrs. buma left hospital THAT IMPORANT job title with big pay WAS NOT FILLED. Was dropped. Never hurts greasing the wife of a Senator’s paycheck.

Must stop. You’re too racist for me. Examples, “A pampered rich white woman” and “Great White Hype”. I use derogatory terms but with explanation &/or examples, etc.. You have NO IDEA if she is “pampered”...

Am sure with help Ann does a WONDERFUL JOB at home. Not sure if her __ Multiple Sclerosis __ would allow her to hold just any regular job. Think you are hard on her brucetee.

This week-end you are showing your are stupid to the max.

So you claim you have “corrected” me. Being cute again ??? You _ suppositively _ prove your case by showing Prez wife worked outside the home in earlier times. You did not correct me. You confirmed what I wrote. I wrote “Ms bum-bum is no “June Cleaver” either”. Unlike June, she worked (means no Jume Cleaver). May have to call you dumb-dumb with these kind of errors...

2. You write "It bears repeating that the united states,is the only non- third world country that does not provide basic healthcare for it;s citizen's".

DEMOCRATS fixed that ???

That is a terrible thing for you to say about the __ passed legislation __ called BUMCARE. Was passed BY DEMOCRATS. DEMOCRATS had no need to read bill before passage. It provided a 4 + year wait to get it going FULL STEAM. Democrats wanted PAIN, SUFFERING, & BANKRUPCY from lack of health care FOR YEARS FOR the poor WITH NO INSURANCE. Was a ALL DEMOCRAT VOTE.

When people like the unnamed poster find the need to resort to name calling. It shows that their arguement is on thin ice.this what happens when theres no foundation to their statements, just mere irrational chatter.

A pampered rich white woman, Ann Romney, has no clue what it is like to work long hours at a barely above minimum wage job, struggling to care for her children without any other support. It was wrong for the Democrats not to support Hilary Rosen, because she was on target. It's easy for Mrs. Romney to hide behind her cancer ordeal, she had plenty of money for treatments and nannies to care for her children during that time. My grandmother could not afford those expensive treatments, & her husband was poor, so she died and her six children had to grow up without her. That is the REAL world poor, working women have to deal with. Thanks to Republican actions, reducing programs which help the poor, and their insistence that health care remain in the unaffordable premiums range as run by the private sector, many children of poor working women will become motherless. Ann Romney's nothing but a rich, spoiled heiress and a hypocrite to pretend it was so hard for her to raise her "silver spoon" boys, born into privilege and wealth. The Rich Romneys have no concept of true 99% struggles - but brain-dead, deceived retards will vote for him anyway, because he is their Great White Hype.

matthew of FL _ Are you clairvoyant ??? I guess with MS, Ann did have a least some help...

So Ann, as you write, “must have had a Team of Nanny's , Maids and Servants to help raise those five while she was sporting about @ the " Country Club". ” You say __ "must have"__ , don’t you know ??? You do stereotype the rich don’t you ? Does this stereotype apply to say the KENNEDY WOMEN that don’t work outside home ? And wives who stay home of rich Democrat Congressmen ?

I thought a woman had a right to choice if she stays home or works outside of the home. If is possibility under the circumstances.

Take mrs. buma and her last job working in hospital. She got big title and big $$$ raise in NEW JOB POSITION. Unfortunately the $$$ 1 million PORK for hospital offered up by Sen. buma failed to pass. Hillary,

You're a hero Ms. Rosen for speaking the truth!! Ann, Silver Spoon Romney, must have had a Team of Nanny's , Maids and Servants to help raise those five while she was sporting about @ the " Country Club". The biggest obstacle in raising children for the majority of parents is Financial, something Annie R. has never experienced!!

matthew of FL 7:16AM April 17, 2012

The writer sounds like she is a middle-aged, childless, work-a-holic. How can someone like that appreciate a woman who takes pride in being a woman and mother. How sad :-(
