God, he's disgusting. He feels he is above all. ALL monies from any Cheney or Bush books, engagements should go towards wounded warriors.

Here's a few links to Cheney's comment, which, by the way, are somewhat true. Especially since Ronald Reagan was the biggest deficit whore in US history until Bush Junior came along.

Nice play with the increases. However, incurring a $10 trillion dollar deficit after inheriting a surplus is NOT the same thing as increasing a deficit by $4 trillion when you have to reflate the economy.

Pity Bush shot all of his bullets on tax cuts and stimulus checks- we would have had the firepower to defeat the depression he created.

2. "Spend like a drunken sailor", that would be barry. He wants more to spend:

"CBO: Obama budget worse than projected on 10-year deficit ($9.5 Trillion total in deficits)"

3. Bush "doubling the national debt"

"The Weekly Standard: Obama Vs. Bush On Debt"

"When President Obama took office two years ago, the national debt stood at $10.626 trillion. It now stands at $14.071 trillion — a staggering increase of $3.445 trillion in just 735 days (about $5 billion a day)."

"To put that into perspective, when President George W. Bush took office, our national debt was $5.768 trillion. By the time Bush left office, it had nearly doubled, to $10.626 trillion. So Bush's record on deficit spending was not good at all: During his presidency, the national debt rose by an average of $607 billion a year. How does that compare to Obama? During Obama's presidency to date, the national debt has risen by an average of $1.723 trillion a year — or by a jaw-dropping $1.116 trillion more, per year, than it rose even under Bush."

The raunchiest VP since Aaron Burr should have his say. Its a free country. Even the lowest creeps in the gutter shuold have their say.

The more Cheney talks the more clearly Americans can see how diabolical the Republican agenda is, how corrupt the GOP was and continues to be.

Just remember Cheney was the one who told us deficits don't matter and then proceeded to encourage his puppet Bush-ochioo to spend like a drunken sailor, doubling the national debt.

Was Dick Cheney also into evil fly-fishing?

FYI_obama's childhood name is barry. Do give article and time stamp where I put "Bob becomes Bobby, John becomes Johnny ". brucetee AND HIS LITTLE FRIEND are a VERY SPECIAL CASE...

1. "Halliburton's share price from time of the beginning of Iraq war to its high and sure enough, it went percentage wise MUCH more than the S & P average"

What does that prove ? That is YOUR PROOF of something WRONG ? Company saw increased revenue because of contracts in Iraq. You don't trade do you ? I do. AVERAGE, some go way lower and some go way higher.

2. "yes, there was a real question about the $1.25 'no contest' bid awarded to Halliburton courtesy of Cheney and friends."

SO ? What were they found GUILTY OF ? "Real question":

"Obama administration approves No-Bid Halliburton Contract...

I guess the evil Cheney wasn't so evil after all?"

Please go back and read Gone With the Wind. Scarlett made her declaration in the turnip patch, not the potato patch.

"It was much sadder when he [Cheney] shot a friend while quail hunting on Maryland's Eastern Shore, ... "

*sigh* At least get the (easily checked) facts straight. The shooting accident occurred in South Texas.

Seems like every time I come to a US News political article, that same Bill H is running around. When he doesn't like someone else's comment, he adds a Y to their name, like Bob becomes Bobby, John becomes Johnny and of course, Barack Obama becomes Barry.

Read about Halliburton's share price from time of the beginning of Iraq war to its high and sure enough, it went percentage wise MUCH more than the S & P average, and yes, there was a real question about the $1.25 'no contest' bid awarded to Halliburton courtesy of Cheney and friends. Someone who uses his political advantage to his own advantage isn't an honest man or woman. Doesn't matter if it is a Democrat or Republican, it's called dishonesty.

By the way, I'm a fiscal conservative so labels about my 'left' leaning don't work.

As for Bill, would someone get some bug spray, the guy keeps buzzing around insulting everybody, time to go Billy!!
