Prediction: Hillary Clinton Will Tell Weiner's Wife to Leave Him

I'm not from New York, so I don't presume to know anything about former Congressman Weiners' track record when it came to representing his constituents, and what exactly he was able to accomplish for them. I do believe, however, that you cannot separate a man from his actions, because when it really boils down to the broth, man is nothing more than the sum of his actions. He may have been great as a Congressman, but his actions speak volumes to his character. And being a US Congressman is entirely about character (yes, I did borrow part of that line from the hit movie, "The American President", starring Michael Douglas).

I hope Hillary Clinton is not a not a hypocrite, and when she gives advice to her aide, she is guided by her own experience and that of her daughter's.

She also should consider whether her aide and Weiner should have gotten married in the first place. Current feelings of hurt should be only a small consideration.

The great lie in this article is that Hillary is capable of loving Bill or anyone. She only sees humans as objects to manipulate to achieve her goals. She was furious at Bill because he did it in such a stupid way, and if he never got caught she would have been perfectly happy with whatever he did, as long as it kept her in power.

Even though it was poor exercise in judgement, I dont think congressman Weiner should resign. Contrary to what the morality 'husslers' want the world to believe that it is the end of the world, it is not. We have to separate the man from his actions in this. He is taking full responsibility to get help. End of story. His job performance has been stellar!. Afterall who is good??? The decision for his wife to still continue marrying him or not is nobody's business. The business of personal destruction seems so tempting whenever a great person 'sins'

An epitomy of raw hypocrisy???

this is nothing compared to what some leaders in the past have done and are still doing to our First Americans. Lying, stealing their land, torturing, murdering, and making up words like manifest destiny and eminent domain as well as fixing the courts so they are against our First People. From the first prez who ordered the complete extermination of our First Americans to the last court decisions to take their lands, Mr. Weiner is small change compared to the injustices committed against humanity

Weiner is a lying scumbag who should resign for the good of the party and his wife.I think its his wifes right to stay with or leave if she chooses its no ones business but hers and if she wants Hillarys advice good for her.Stop judging her and the clintons for being her friend.

These are thought-provoking comments and I thank everybody for pitching in with their point of view. I spoke with a well-seasoned California couples therapist (my fifth grade teacher) and the doctor said he'd have to see Congressman Weiner for 2-3 times a week intensively before making a dent.

As the saying went, "the personal is political."

We are in the new cyber age of communication. We are not back in the days where men drooled over Playboy Magazine, or stared at naked girlie pictures on the old car repair shoppe wall!

With all law BREAKERS who are established law makers, and senate members, let alone the Presidents of the United States who have lied, cheated, and stole from all Americans, Weiner hasn't come close to their FILTH!

They are jealous of him, and want his voice silenced. After all, in this Gov's eyes, no one should be sticking up for "little Americans."

I'm sick of it, and if the dems crucify him, I'll change my registration. This is just WRONG!

Go watch some A. Weiner's YouTubes, and you'll see why he can't stick around~! He FIGHTS for US.

Elected representatives above all things must be trustworthy. We elect them because we believe that they will follow through on their promises to their constituents and make good choices as legislators. Weiner has proven that he is untrustworthy and capable of making very poor choices. As a politician and elected official his actions are game enders.

Natalie B of CA 6:03PM June 14, 2011

I am going to disagree with others on Weiner being a " irascible little man". He is actually a great politician. He is passionate about his work and I would love to be represented by an articulate congressman like him. Incidentally, Bill Clinton was a great politician also. But whether they are good husbands is an entirely different subject.
