Not Enough Shame From Weiner, Palin, Edwards

When exactly did U.S. News become such a typically liberal rag? Not enough shame from the Palin-haters, it seems to me.

This narrative by Jamie Stiehm was not written by US New and World Report; it is a narrative written by Jamie Stiehm about the varied and sundry dealings in politics and policies in what is supposed to be a democracy. Jamie questions whether democracy can continue in light of the very controversial occurrences lately within our government, coupled with the puzzling behaviors (from arrogant to ignorant to unethical) and, obviously, questionable deportment of our politicians.

I agree that narrating, ALL IN ONE article, the disappointing behaviors of our politicians seems uneven in its judgment of the severity of each behavior; however, the scope and sequence of disappointing choices of contemporaty politicians IS overwhelming. It is a list of behaviors that indicate the difficulty we face in selecting political candidates in whom we can place our trust.

This is a disillusioning state of affairs in what is supposed to be a democracy, where, it appears, our choices for focused, exemplary, dedicated, ethical, and intelligent leaders are dreadfully limited.

What exactly does Sarah Palin's take on Paul Revere have to do with two adulterous male politicians? Are we to believe that her actions are as shameful as Edwards and Weiner's?? And what do "Slutwalks" have to do with Palin? The article certainly attempts to make a connection somehow.

Man, you news media folks just cannot get Palin out of your head. This article is a real stretch!

Come on US News--this makes no sense--why are you lumping in Sarah Palin with the two adulterers? Screwing up a historical fact is not an equivalent offense

Love the stream of consciousness. It's incoherent nonsense, but glad you're enjoying yourself with words.

The pugnacious Mrs. Palin is clearly a remarkable American character and force of nature. Her own story has a long way to play out and she has found a fierce following. That does not give her the "write" to change the universally acknowledged history of Paul Revere's Ride - sorry, but she can't just make up stuff as she goes along. Well, I guess she can because she just did. History needs to be listened to and learned from, not used as a political goalpost, moving here and there. This is the most personal campaign - if that's what it is - in a very long time. The (undeclared) candidate has the power to inspire strong personal feelings. On that much, maybe we agree.

When was the last time Sarah had to cover up for anything? Her life has been an open book for all you to observe, ridicule, tear apart, and try to destroy. Weiner and Edwards were able to do all of that without your help. You hate her because she refuses to play your game. Sarah doesn't speak your language, never will, and never should. She was right about Revere too. Exactly what reason do you really have for lumping her in with the perverted and unfaithful? I'm beginning to like Sarah more and more. It takes one hell of a resilient woman to take the hits, without any cover.

For an excellent book about a woman of real character who overcame the shame of inappropriate relationships, I highly recommend a book I just finished: My Mother Killed Christ: But God Loves Me Anyway. So Powerful!

Are you nuts....what kind of stretch is this. Your agenda is clear....let's through in Palin and people will start to believe she is just as bad as these scum bags....unfortunately, some people will buy into this crap. Do you guys have any kind of conscious for what is right? I don't think so...what in the world goes on in your brain and heart to be so hateful....I'm beginning to believe that the only reason you hate Palin so much is you are all jealous of her...she is beautiful, smart, and has more charisma than most of you on the left could only dream of having. Between the media, Hollywood and the elite left, you guys just keep on beating on her...you are either jealous, or scared to death of her, because otherwise, you wouldn't give her the time of day. I just hope more people wake up to this type of tear down tactic and do their own homework on Sara Palin...she makes most of you people look stupid and very unattractive. You guys really need to take a look within and see how you look to the rest of us....it's not pretty!!

Hey maybe you should read history you idiot. The fact that you think your the smartest man in the room only shows your conceit and stupidity. You should write a book with the other losers kline and krugman. Your arrogant and you think you know everything which apparently you DO NOT. One more thing Sarah does not belong in this article with these dispicable people. She hasn't lied, cheated or tweeted this type of behavior. How do people like you keep your jobs?
