You mean like the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act that deregulated the banks, and the massive push on the Community Reinvestment Act, both of which were direct contributers and causes of the big crash is 2008?
Or are you referring to the dot-com bubble, that broke in 2000?
If you are going to try to crow about the supposed positives, you have to at least acknowledge the negatives.

as i remember the last time we had a truly robust economy with strong job growth ( remember those tax rates ) was under bill clinton.

I kind of thought reaching the debt ceiling was important. What is Democrat’s fix ? Raise the level ? How will they pay for it. Prove rasing taxes on rich gains revenue for government please:

Amazing how even after all these years, the Left cannot let go of the lie they told themselves - and everyone else who would listen - that Clinton was persecuted solely because of the Lewinsky affair.
"Oh woe is poor Billy!" they constantly wail.
The truth is a bit different.
Clinton lied under oath to a grand jury - something that even a President is not allowed to do.
Ol' Billy basicly showed himself to be a letch.

Last weekend 3 Christian churches were burned in Egypt by thousands of Muslims who were enraged that a Muslim girl was trying to become a Christian. Not a word about the need for "tolerance" from the left stream media - or anyone else.
Russia is getting involved more deeply in Middle East politics. We're snoring.
Portugal's economy is imploding - not a peep.
Can our economy withstand the the billions in costs for the Mississippi flooding and other sever weather events?
The end of of our 6 decade old space program - China and Russia take over space, as the U.S. loses its access to the "New Frontier".
Recent College Grads return to mom and dad - Can't find work.
Gang Rapes and Other Violence Toward Women Epidemic, As the Middle East Sinks Into Chaos.
Housing and Manufacturing falls as U.S. economy falters.
Drug cartels, mass murders spread throughout Mexico, Central and South America.
Alright, we all know Obama is in campaign mode (when isn't he?) And, the Right has no viable candidates. Must we beat this dead horse 10 times a day until the election? And after, have a non-stop post-mortem until the next campaign begins?
