On Healthcare, Old-School Pelosi Gave Obama a Lesson in Politics

Poor Harry Reid seems destined to be monitored at home next year.

Froze face did a great job from her point of view. What happens in ethic committee to her who knows. Time will tell if she shot all her bullets getting this passed.

Will she be chair come next year ? Not likely. Just sitting in chair must likely.

But give her her dues. She succeeded in getting passed a health care mostly going into effect in 4 years but collecting now. That money, as always, will be spent. Leaving in more entitlement debt, higher health taxes ($1 billion this quarter for AT&T).

Happy liberals, and sad Conservatives. Public biting at the bit for November.

Enjoy higher prices on everything…

Your post started out low in credibility, refering to Pelosi as elegant, and went down hill from there. You missed the fact that in her "the ends justifies the means" approach, integrity of the process suffered. Democrats are patting themselves on the back now, but this won't be forgotten. With a little luck, she'll be rewarded for her hard work by being the minority leader this time next year.

What was it Obama said about pigs and lipstick? Unless your changing the definition of elegant, Stiehm. She's a smug, arrogant, condescending, prig. Nothing would make me happier than to see her lose her seat or, at the very least, be relegated to a committee that deals with sewage in the United States.
