Should Augusta National Admit Women?

Why should they? It is a PRIVATE club. Masters tournament belongs to them, not PGA. They can do what they want, don't like it, don't watch it, don't support it. Just leave it alone.
They are not breaking any law. There is nothing wrong with men-only private club. Just as there are with women-only private club/organizations.

It would be nice if this was a two way street and an equal oppritunity story, but its not.
The Master has been around for 80 years, and people say it has an ingrained issue (gender) which needs to go away. Yet, if we were to look at women only clubs which have been around less than 20 we find that discrimination was built into the very fabric of these clubs. One such Belizean Grove,is much like Auguata in that it is a "Power" club for the rich to make deals and network...did I say rich? I meant "Women" rich -you see Men are NOT ALLOWED.
So the next time I hear about Equality at Augusta, I hope to hear that those same people ae calling for the admitance of Men into Belizean Grove.

I cannot understand why any organization would want to discriminate against women. what are they trying to prove? Some traditions are okay to let go of.

How about Burning Tree in Bethesda, MD. ? It's membership is full of politicians and ex-presidents, but no-one brings that club up. I guess if a tournament like The Masters was held there they would get noticed for their men-only policy as well.
