Excuse me, Robert Schlesinger,

What happened with your posting the winner with the best caption of your "National Christmas Tree Train Wreck" from December 12, 2011??

As I recall, there wasn't a single viable suggestion...

You're as much of a failure as that thieving creep in our WH!

So you are a TEA member ? You recall how they were against deal. Great pressure applied just like was done for extending the no tax for social security for 2 months. We wanted year and paid for. At first light, even obuma wanted 1 year until he could see how it could be used against us.Also wanted pipeline allowed (jobs-oil). But that hurts obuma. He wanted to decide after election. If obuma was for pipeline, he loses environmentalist vote. If against loses union votes. Rather have Canada carry out treat of building their pipeline to their shores and sell oil to China.

So you are for Newt ? He balanced the budget, surplus, reformed welfare (CONTRACT WITH AMERICA) and made government small by working with both sides. When Bill C. disagreed and vetoed Newt stood tall and held his ground closing down government. My they hated Newt for that. Year long ethic committee investigation with 70 + charges dropped and Newt winning in court. A few minor issues stuck. Costing Newt unheard of $$$ 300,000...

Hey junior, those of us outside the beltway give Congress the worst approval numbers not because they 'don't get along' but because the real 'Train Wreck' is the debt and they keep spending more and more. When a 'defict reduction' package winds up adding billions to the defict we actually get it. Cutting the rate of increase is the usual bait and switch of both houses of Congress, and those of us that have to pay for it are getting mighty fed up with the entire process.

BTW, Junior, "reinforces the public's near-unanimous disapproval of Congress, its GOP members especially" is wishful thinking on your part. How many Democrats are not standing for re-election?

YO, HEY SCHEISSLINGER: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO OBAMA'S 2011 PASS-THIS-JOBS-BILL-NOW $450 BILLION MEGA-WAZOO STIMULUS???

You know the one Scheisslinger, where Obama barked like a ferocious democrat rott before turning into a whimpering little democrat shitzoo -- again. It wasn't that long ago. It all began start of last September, not even four months ago. Now do you remember that?

How about another memory-prod Scheisslinger: It was the the $450 billion mega-wazoo stimulus that Obama and the White House didn't even bother making predictions for this time around in terms of job growth and economy-boosting, but left it for others to predict that it would add 1.9 million jobs, increase 2012 economic growth by 2%, and lower unemployment by one full percentage point. Now do you remember Obama the ferocious $450 billion democrat rott?

Okay, one last memory-prod Scheisslinger: It was the $450 billion mega-wazoo stimulus that Obama then hopped on his magic armored bus to go pound for.

Still don't remember Obama the ferocious $450 billion democrat rott Scheisslinger? Wowie, talk about Alzheimer's. Okay, assuming you remember how to copy something then paste in a browse, here's a link to refresh your memory:

http://thinkprogress.org/progress-report/pass-this-jobs-bill-now/

And the only thing to come out of that was the current 30-something billion 2% payroll tax cut for two months, UI extension, and doctor fix.

Senate democrats promptly said no way in high holy hell are they touching a $450 billion mega-wazoo stimulus package no matter how long and hard Obama the ferocious democrat rott barks for it.

And senate republicans said no way in high holy hell will they stand in principle with house republicans for a full-year payroll tax cut and left Boehner and the house republicans out to dry when they caved on a two-month-only deal with the senate democrats.

The complete event chronology of all the payroll tax cut winners and losers is recounted in:

http://informthepundits.wordpress.com/2011/12/27/payroll-tax-cut-victory-for-obama/

Time and time again, Rep. Paul is right. They all bark like hefty-hefty-hefty ferocious rotts -- the democrats to spend, the republicans to cut taxes -- but when it's showtime, both spin around in circles to sniff each others' butts as wimpy-wimpy-wimpy little shitzoos.

It's time for everyone to leave the card-carrying democrats and republicans behind while they spend half their time simultaneously sniffing each others' butts while trying to poke each other in the eye like a Three Stooges routine -- and spend the other half of their time simultaneously sniffing each others' butts while trying to portray Paul as some sort of a racist-antisemite-homophobe. And all of us instead move on to something much better via a Paul presidency.

Ron Paul 2012. With that veto and executive order pen in his hand that war-is-peace foreign policy mega-squander BS will fall by the wayside. Then we'll have some breathing room and a substantial financial cushion to better handle our domestic concerns.

Your one liner is “Tea party house republicans obstructed bipartisan tax cuts for the working class”

I dare say was not just Tea Party. First obuma wanted year but Senate goes for 2 months so now the BUM is all for 2 months. Democrats going to try and paint dirty grays on us in two months. That’s election engineering. Keep the citizens on pins & needles if they will be paying their social security tax or be pocketing the money in two months instead. That helps folks sleep well !!!

We wanted it stable for year. Second part of story we wanted the Canadian pipeline for jobs and oil. obuma won’t let us get serious about drilling so we need it. High paying jobs in oil is held hostage to politics. The BUM won’t decide until 2013 after the election last I heard. That could change for sure. If obuma is for the Green people are mad. If against unions are sore. Obviously JOBS are not top priority on obuma’s lips anymore. Canada says they will just build pipeline to their coast and sell to China. That helps America (ha-ha)...

"and the GOP specifically"

dream on. Dem's control the White House & one house of Congress. Remember what Truman said about "the buck stops here" ?

Roden of NV 5:03PM December 26, 2011

Could it be that the people have recognized the republican agenda for what it is, a two class system of haves and have nots , or seen from the wisdom of truth, the bourgousie republicans and the democratic laborers of the prolitariat. Never worked here before so you have to wonder just what Ronnie and elder B were thinking if thinking at all!ush

James Huffer of DC 2:48PM December 26, 2011

Hardly a train wreck. Most Americans don't have the attention span of a two-year old. Do you remember what the politicians were arguing about this time last year? I rest my case.
