Rick Perry ducked the question when asked at the last debate if it caused him sleepless nights thinking he may have sent an innocent person to their death.

Instead he jumped into his canned response about Texas justice.

Our criminal justice system relies on humans who can make mistakes. Executions will not allow corrections if mistakes are discovered.

If there is renewed debate it will not change any minds.
