Thanks to obama's, Eric Holders, and Bidens efforts all a person needs to vote is a drivers license issued to illegal aliens.
You need an ID to buy a six pack of beer, go to an X rated movie, cash a personal check, or buy an alcoholic drink in a bar; but if an illegal alien wants to vote for Obama, he only needs to show an electric bill from the house where 6 families of illegal aliens live, or a drivers license issued to an illegal alien in order to vote for obama, somehow your great grandpa who died in 1860 can vote, your dog and cat can vote, all for obama or course; but those who serve in the military havent been able to vote for anyone ever since the democrats realized that the military doesnt like obama or the democraps.

those people always have it all ! spaecially mexicans they come over work of course have a child every year get gov. bnenefits...free community services . steal identities, live like rouches and buy propertiee in some one else name etc. The gov. give them everything thats why they just work to send money home.Next time im not gonna vote...whats for when i go for a job or help i get nothing. why vote for mexicans benefits? USA is doing mexicans gov. the hard work . USA should go mexico and bring all the poor people to america .

My thought is should people who give illegals cars be held responsible. My neighbor sold his car to the illegal worker he has used for the past 4 years. He knows for a fact that the guy is illegal and can not get a driver's license or insurance. If this illegal gets in an accident, I am thinking that my neighbor should be held liable. This is no different than the bartender who serves a drunk and then sends him out onto the street, or if my neighbor had a party and allowed drunk guests to drink home. He put this "loaded gun", i.e. car into the hands of this illegal knowing full well that the illegal can not legally drive and he did so with total disregard for the safety of me, my family, and all other legal drivers.

All i can say on this matter is that if an illegal alien with no drivers licence hits my car & kills my son & takes off, i will chase them down & kill them man or woman it does not matter. I will not wait for justice for our laws have too many flaws & a simple sorry does not bring back my son. I will cut off the head of this illegal alien as a warning to all others who don't respect our laws & i will claim temperary insanity & sit back & watch the flaws in our system at its finest as i am set free. Sure it will not bring back my son but i promise you this, that dirty illegal alien scum will not take anymore lives in this lifetime or the next!

Unfortunately it is extremely difficult to obtain a path to legal entrance. The system that we have now functions mainly by sponsoring someone in and even that isn't a sure method for someone who has entered illegally. During the time that the Federal Immigration system went into order, in the Ellis Island days, you would try to get here, however you could, and then the govt. would verify that you did not have a criminal background, illnesses, or anything that would make you a impede you from becoming a contributing member of society (must be able to work). It was hard back then and it is even harder today. The requirement that admitted someone before doesn't admit someone today. These illegals are not wanting to get away with being illegal. I know many who would love to get legalized but they can't because there is NO way for them to do so. Those that have the most urgent need are not allowed to get greencard lottery and because they are not "sponsored" there's not a way for them to enter legally. The many individuals that sacrificed their lives to get to Ellis Island showed great strength in trying to get here. That strength made them valuable members and creators of our US History today. Today those that come here illegally, more so than those that come here legally, show that same strength. They give up a lot more and sacrifice a lot more than many of those that get in legally. Believe me Shannon they don't like the situation that they are in and would prefer to live legally. I feel that allowing them a dL is only providing a safer means for others since they would HAVE TO BE insured. They drive now without DL's and are a hazard on the road. Let them pay and take a DL test. They must pass the DL test as we all had to at some point. I think Danielle is on the right track, perhaps they can be color coded or have a mark stating citizenship, residency, tourist, etc.
Let us make sound judgements and not let our biased judgements get in the way.

Illegal=! Mexican. It is simple knowledge whether someone is a citizen or not...
However, every person, for safety and insurance sake should get drivers licenses.
If there was a little mark showing if the person is a citizen, non-citizen, or green-card holder, then there would be no problem.
Police inforcement of immigration policy would know their immigration status from their state drivers license, and if they are pulled over for another offence and have no ID.... that's an entirely different issue.
Let them drive, just make it transparent that they aren't citizens.

I believe that by allowing illegal immigrants to obtain a valid drivers liscence could decrease danger, fraud, and probably even make it safer for everyone else. Danger could be dreased in the way that you could easily track them down if they comited a crime, and also be able to identify them( I say this, because many don't even give their real name when being pulled over). Also this would decrease identity theft, but I will not go into details with that. Finally, it would just make it safer for all of us due to the fact that everyone knows that once you accumulate so many points your drivers liscence could be revoked making this a reason as to why they would obey the traffic laws and obtain responsibility for any sitations. yes! i've heard this sooooo many times it has already gotten boring Illegals are Illegals blahh blahh,,,,,,everyone was illegal or had a relative or ancestors etc. etc., not all of them are criminals and if it was sooooo easy to come here legally don't you think they would of done everything possible to do it??!

yes this country was built by immigrants who had to pass through Ellis island first. They had to go through a rigorous process to become American Citizens! Citizens of a great new country. If you are here illegally you are here against the law, period! You must become legal so that when you are called to account you cannot cry about being deported because you were too lazy to follow the rules and just assumed that in this day and age you would get away with it! Illegal is Illegal. It is a crime, no matter what spin you try and put on it. Licensing illegals does not make the roads safer, nor do they contribute to our economy the way it was hoped.
