The polls that you are quoting are apparently in error. Because every State (something like 26 or so) when given the opportunity to vote have in EVERY SINGLE CASE voted gay marriage down! and all of the above States then made laws and constitutional admentments to ensure that gay marriage was not legal in their State.

If the people who *really* oppose same-sex marriage want a place to be, they can go to the Catholic church, a conservative Protestant church, a conservative synagogue, et cetera. But, excuse me, what about all the others? There is one ugly fact that they don't want you to notice: they want all gays, lesbians, bisexuals or transgenders to simply disappear. To extend marriage to couples of the same-sex is to call into question the very purpose and usefulness of the institution of marriage. It begs the question of why the government would be involved in it in the first place. Nothing against gays, but marriage is about orderly procreation.

There cannot be any marrige between homesexuals for it is not a normal union of the two diffrent genders. Homosexuals are not gay or happy individuals or groups but very unhappy, misled, lost, confused and afraid group, which all humanity pray for and support and try to lead them to repentance, reformations and healing. The founder and the Head of the United State of America is King Jesus, the living and the ruling owner of the planet earth. And the inhabitant of that country and every other nation must do the good will of God, through the beloved Son and not do the wicked will of the flesh, incuring damination. Human beings are not self existant therefor cannot make their own laws to live by but must surrender their will to the good Will of Christ Jesus and submit to His God approved authority. God doesnot approve homosexuality because the Good Lord has not made any one to be or feel that way. It is the human sinfulness and wrong living that brings about such abnormalcy and human beings must repent it, renounce it, pray for healing and do away with it and not try to embrace it. The Church of Christ does not approve nor give permission for homosexuals to get to merry their own kind. While every one is doing the right to set free the homosexuals from the evil they are insnared with, we have to help them to survive economically and in every other way together with all humanity, without being harrased, bashed, hated and killed needlessly. The Good News is God can heal the fear of homosexuality and those that have been practicing it, when they seek help. As soon as our government excepted the term marriage to be used in the union of two people it has at that moment become secular. If fundamentalist do not want the term marriage to be affiliated with gay unionship that they need to keep that term with in the confines of their churchs. Either marriage for all or unionship for all. stop the hate.
