The true question is: Is this about relationship or is this about family? Our government promotes heritage and but has no buisness into relationships. By the end of the debate on gay marrage, ask yourself if you strip away the sexual bond is there still a family? A brother will always be a brother, a sister will always be a sister, a mother will always be a mother and a father will always be a father. Can that be applied to a gay marriage? 1. There is no benifit to the tax payer or our government to promote realationships base on love. 2. Except for adoption purposes gay marriage is real "flimsy" in that perspective of what is a real family. For example then- two siblings living together should be able to get benifits for one another then without any sexual bond. Tell me how is that "less family" than two guys or ladies fighting for benifit rights? So can you cliam your sister or brother or mother or father in your health care package?

In a society that determines that there is no God or that God has nothing to say in matters of their life have no other course but to state they are the holders and proclaimers of all truth. When people claim to hold infallible truth, they deceive themselves and become victims of there misguided perception. Marriage is an institution created by God. God has in plain and easily understood language defined how marriage is understood, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24).
There are dire consequences for those who ignore the ordinances of God as he has determined them to be. In the book of Romans we read, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them....So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God...they became futile in their thinking, and their harts were darkened.Claiming to be wise they became fools....Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator....For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not be done" (Romans 1:18-28).
This is not my opinion as some would like to believe. This is God's own word. Where God states that they receive in themselves the due penalty for their error, he means by that that the inevitable result of such a position is eternal hell.
But there is an answer to all of this. John 3:16 states For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." How do we come to understand this? First, by recognizing our own sinfulness, and that our sins draw us away from God. Second, Recognize that we are unable to overcome our sinful nature by our own strength since every living person has a natural tendency to hate God and his neighbor. Third, that come to learn that we can be freed from the bondage of our sinful nature - how? - by believing in sincere faith that Christ has taken the penalty of sin on our behalf.
This all begins with the reading of God's Word, the Bible. It requires honest prayer asking God to forgive your sins and to grant his Holy Spirit into your life that his Spirit will lead you into the truth of God's Word. Nothing is impossible for those who call on Him.

I AM A RESIDENT OF NEVADA, AND I AM IN A LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP. I BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN OPINION ON SEXUAL PREFERENCES. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT IT SHOULD BE KEPT AS THAT. NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY WHO ANOTHER PERSON CHOOSES AS THEIR PARTNER WHETHER IT IS THE SAME SEX OR OPPOSITE SEX. I HAVE BEEN IN A SAME SEX RELATIONSHIP FOR 15 YEARS. I LOVE MY PARTNER AND I JUST WISH WE COULD BE MARRIED ALSO. YES WE CAN GET WHAT THEY CALL DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP WHICH GIVE SOME OF THE RIGHTS OF REGULAR MARRIAGE. BUT TELL ME WHAT IS REGULAR ARE WE NOT REGULAR BECAUSE WE CHOOSE TO BE WITH THE SAME SEX. I THINK NOT GOD HAS MADE ALL OF US WHETHER IT BE STRAIGHT OR GAY. WE WERE ALL MADE DIFFERENT IF WE WERE ALL THE SAME THIS WORLD WOULD BE BORING. I THINK THEY SHOULD LEGALIZE GAY MARRIAGE THROUGHOUT ALL OF THE U.S. THIS DECISION SHOULDN'T BE BANNED BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T AGREE TO IT THEY ARE JUST BEING SELF CENTERED, GREEDY, AND ARE NOT OPEN MINDED AT ALL. I WAS RAISED BY THE BEST PARENTS IN THE WORLD THEY BROUGHT ME UP RIGHT, BUT THEY SUPPORT MY DECISION ON WHO I CHOOSE TO LOVE. Gay and Bisexual and other men who have sex with men represent approx. 2% of the US population, yet are the population most severely affected by HIV. In 2009 males having sex with males account for 61% of all new HIV cases.
At the end of 2009 an estimated 441,669 (56%) persons living with an HIV diagnosis in the US were men having sex with men.
And some people dare claim homosexuality is normal!
