Was the Casey Anthony 'Not Guilty' Verdict the Right One?

Whatever Casey Anthony's role was in the death of her daughter, she had to be involved in some way. Either the prosecutor overreached, or brought the right charge and failed to prove the case. It was their job to know the best way to proceed.

I think this verdict may point to a larger problem, the inability to reason in this world? Narcissism and Gray Area have confused the people! Politicians don't lie, they just put "Political Spin" on a situation. The old Hell + Handbasket equation still holds true! Back to the basics?

This trial should have resulted in a hung jury to give the prosecution a second chance. There is no way not one of the twelve jurors did not believe strongly enough that Casey was guilty. For sure there were mothers in that jury pool that were probably encouraged to give the "not guilty" verdict, against their better judgement. Shame on them.

I wish you could spell. Then maybe I would take your opinion into consideration.

I do not find it difficult to believe that Casey Anthony was acquitted of Capital Murder. What I DO find difficult to believe is that the jury did find her guilty of a lesser charge, which they had the ability to do. Common sense, and pretty good circumstantial evidence, would dictate that she had some involvement in the death of her daughter. You would have to be absent of all common sense to think otherwise.

The jury got it wrong. I believe in our judicial system, but if a killer can go free,

something needs to change. If because the state over charged her and the jury could not convict her of a lesser charge, the system should change. Maybe they

need to update our system to reflect an up-to-date, 2011, definition of "reasonable doubt". I hope someone has the passion and determination to introduce a bill into the senate or house to amend that aspect of our system.

Get it wrong publicly one time (OJ) same on them. Get it wrong twice, shame on us.
