Coming from the mentally challenged Righties is this notion Bush has any claim to even the slightest help in killing Osama bin Ladin.
Bush dissolved the counterterrorism unit that was pursuing Osama in 2006 and Bush publicly claimed he wasn't interested in getting OBL anymore at the same time. Bush's buddy Musharraf also disbanded his Get-Osama’ unit. Bush and Musharraf might get credit for giving OBL a free pass. Conveniently about the same time OBL got his new villa in Pakistan, you might say his golden parachute. Cheney is probably shaking in his boots that his emails might turn up in the 'treasure trove of intelligence' captured last week.
We can see its the same folks claiming Bush deserves credit for killing OBL are the ones who deny Bush was responsible for causing the Bush Depression we are in and have nothing but praise for Bush's handling of the economy. Glad to see you guys got your drawers all twisted up over Obama's success in getting Osama.

This Obama clown won't release the photos because the world would be amazed with OBL health conditions. The "dangerous" terrorists that took a team of 40 seals to catch looked more like a guy with HIV.
OBL was gravely ill with kidney complications and hemophilia. He had to make hemodialysis almost everyday and was too skinny.
A guy in such health conditions was no threat to anybody. That's why Obama rushed to dump his body at the ocean.
Obama was afraid to show the guy he killed.
The real dangerous Al Qaeda people were already caught by Bush and are in Gitmo.

There is no evidence to suggest that the use of torture under the Bush admin played any role in catching OBL. The suggestion is quite insulting actually.
So instead of tossing out all our freedoms and attacking the wrong country in obvious panic, like the Republicans, Obama is showing courageous faith that a nation can live by rule of law and still defeat its enemies. That makes him your hero, right?

Well, gee, that sure flies in the face of the self-adduced "expert opinion" of a man - Cheney - who has never served or been formally trained in the military or in any law enforcement capacity or procedure. Cheney knows about as much about effective interrogation techniques as couch-potato bubba knows about triathlon training! This is what we get when we let two draft dodger chicken-hawks run the country and try to run two wars!
Just because Cheney and his right-wing psy-ops plant wants to revisit this story doesn't make it any more or less true. Truth is not generated simply by saying something over and over again. You can't market or sell me the truth. Get over yourselves you toe tapping Republican propagandist hacks.
Republicans have been torture for our great country and now they want you to be proud of them for it.

Michael Barone has an excellent article on this. Both Bush and Obama deserve credit for this. The idea that Bush isn't deserving of credit is beyond ludicrous, though the supporters of Obama are going to do everything possible to propogate such a notion. That's easy to understand considering the state of the economy:

Of course Obama should get credit! Since some people are blaming him for Bush's mistakes and the procedures that were signed in Bush's term, not Obama's, like the bailouts (all Bush), so if he's going to be in trouble for the Bush administration's work, the least we could do is give him credit as well. It works both ways!!!!
