public sector private sector management it's all the same . thier goal is to get employees to do more and be compensated less. there was an article on the net a few days ago bemoning the public's perception of corporations as greedy ,anti worker, polluters. where on earth would anyone get that idea? it couldn't be because corporations are sitting on trillions of dollars in profits ,sending jobs to whatever corner of the earth they can get slave labor and pollute at will with no regard for workers health and safety could it ?damn unions with their outrageous demands for a decent world to live in.lets get rid of all unions and trust the upper echelons of management and billionare ceos to be fair and balanced with us. how did that work out for us in the past? it ain't funny folks !vote democrat!!

I paid $500K for a house shortly before the collapse. It’s now worth around $140K. Even though I can afford the payments, I’m going to let it go into foreclosure and purchase a similar house for cash. If enough people do what I’m doing, the mortgage system will continue to fail, and many people will get hurt. Nevertheless, it’s the best thing for me, and that’s all I really care about.

I got this idea by watching rich people and corporations do exactly the same thing. The people and corporations I’m referring to are the ones who supported the candidacies of Tea Party Republican Governors like Scott Walker, Rick Scott, and Paul LePage.

The big shots backing the Tea Party Governors want two things: deregulation and tort reform. Their biggest advisories are the union supported democrats.

Have a nice day

SUCKERS!

They served their purpose, we don't need them anymore. They big bosses are just afraid they are going to lose their jobs. All the do is protect crappy and corrupt workers, teachers, Police and Firemen. We should abolish all public sector unions, They literally serve no purpose anymore, everything they "stand for" is now law.

Maybe we should go back to the 12 hour work day and sending in federal troops to break strikes. Or maybe we should go back to the time before safety regulations so that you can lock the fire escapes to make sure workers don't leave before their shift is over.

People who are against unions benefit from them!? Scott Walker is a state worker so yes dumbass he is getting the same benefits as other state workers and the same cuts. Scott Walker is also the governor so he gets other benefits for dealing with dumbasses like you, similair to the president being set for life after his presidency.

hmmm I do my job and I do my job very well. I don't belong to a union nor do I depend on anyone for my salary except for myself.

I guess I have been standing on my own for years. Gee I didn't know I was wrong.

oh yes and PS................after 15 years on my job if I should retire today......I'll get all of $526 dollars a month.........that's from my heftyyyyyy federal well paying job LOL.........and my health care costs will go up - not down after retirement!

ljg of CA 2:20PM March 10, 2011

you people who are against unions are the very people who are benefitting from those of us who do belong and pay those dues......you get the raises and the benefits you have because of Unions .....you're just too stupid to realize it.........has Governor Scott Walker taken a cut in pay or a decrease in benefits???????? Think bout your federal senators who after only 6 years in office can walk away with $139,000 + in retirement payments.......takes a postal worker 42 years to get 85% of his salary. Concessions need to be made yes to help out with budget shortfalls - but think of who it was who agreed to the pay scale and the benefits those state workers are getting......your elected officials - why don't ya go after them???? They are truly trying to turn out country into the likes of third world nations........even not handling the illegal immigration problem.......they'll work for less - you want them to take your job????? Give em immunity again why don't ya.......let the corporations continually take our jobs overseas - including customer service - we can't continue to be a country without meaningful jobs.....concessions yes - rights should not be taken away!

ljg of CA 2:15PM March 10, 2011

Financial concessions are one thing, but saying a worker has no right to negotiate their working conditions is inexcusable.

And guess what?

That goes down the toilet with this "budget" repair bill
