Newt is the smartest of all candidates and most capable of debating Obama.

So, umm, you seem to have conveniently left out the front-runner, Ron Paul. Guess I'll vote "Other". I see US News has no journalistic integrity. How pathetic. Ron Paul 2012!

RustyJones of NH 1:52PM December 21, 2011

Why is Ron Paul not on the Poll??

Alex of FL 12:03AM December 20, 2011

I was looking for Ron Paul too haha! He's my top pick to vote for. He's been on the news a lot, maybe this website hasn't watched TV lately? ;D

Why is it that Ron Paul is not a selection on the online vote for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination?

This completely demonstrates what a corrupt publication you are when you intentionally remove the name of the most honest, honorable, consistent and statesman like candidate who is polling a close 2nd or 3rd in the early primary states, while including candidates who are not even contending for the office of POTUS. Any poll that intentionally omits a 20+ year serving CONGRESSMAN from TEXAS who COULD win IOWA is a FRAUD and has NO VALIDITY.

You trasnparent communist media concubines will never learn will you??? We KNOW you are as owned as an LA crack whore and "creating" your want-to-be news as you are told to do by your pimps. I CHECKED "OTHER" BECAUSE RON PAUL HAS 66% OF THE VOTE IN THE IOWA POLL SO FAR YOU LYING BALL OF BACTERIA.

I like Newt Gingrich! Newt is intelligent, well thought out, a good academic, a good debater, and he has experience. Is he perfect? No, but I don't know anyone who is. Newt Gingrich had only one alleged “ethics violation”, and a subsequent IRS ruling essentially CLEARED him on that one. Newt knows Washington, and won't need "on the job training". Newt is a “real” candidate and is not “manufactured” meaning that he hasn’t had his whole history hidden, and then re manufactured through his books as the current president. Before you judge Newt, visit his website and watch some of his speeches; he’s a wonderful orator! Newt Gingrich has my vote of confidence!

WE need clarification of positions. A clear, direct, no-nonsense statment of purpose and of actual goals ...this is in contrast to hidden or secret agendas produced by both Obama and Mitt Romney. Mitt is perhaps the Obama of the Grand Old Republican party...and is as suspect...the dreams of Obama's campaign don't match his promises or even get close. Mitt will show the same character if elected. Consequently Newt Gingrich offers clarity, purpose and the legislative prowess/experience to achieve a new rational conservative leadership for this century.
