Between right wing fascists threatening violence and racists bashing minorities and blaming them for all our problems we've got a real roll call of Rhodes Scholars here. I often wonder about the education level of some of the people who read this blog.

Does Robert Schleisinger believe what he writes? Is it possible that an honest man can watch the world financial system shake the United States down for all it's worth, including all it can borrow, and watch the federal congress just shell out trillions of dollars to these criminal monopolies, and then believe that we should all just be practical, and let ELECTABLE politicians continue to rob us blind, unravel Constitution provisions, rail against nukes in every country except our own, allow fiat money to be the controlled by a few hundred man who are all, surprise, surprise, billionaires?

These culprits that Robert calls ELECTABLE are so because they go along with the agenda of the Federal Reserve, the WHO, the WTO, and all of these magical cash cows who do nothing but use that money to stack the odds against us in our own political system.

Hijacked, is the word often used for the U.S. Congress. Enough with false leadership from those who are supposed to be our servants. Enough with their fake emergencies, and anti-constitutional stances, and financial bubbles, and murder sprees, genocide, torture, and theft.

I'll let Robert remain in fantasy land, if indeed he is an honest man (as opposed to a paid propagandist), in which the preceding characteristics garner a politician the requisite ELECTABILITY that practicality demands. For the rest of us, it's time to use our common sense again. And odd as it may be, to actually go and do something that might require us to interact with other human beings not on our computers.

Until Robert and his ilk are laughed out of town with his notion that ESTABLISHMENT candidates intend to stand by and help as our country is brought down by the insatiable greed of a very, very few men, who mean to end national sovereignty world wide.

This is NOT a battle between honest ideologies of left and right (a thought box designed to control all public political discourse). Nor is it a battle between the gays and straights, the christians and non-christians, the jews and the non-jews, the whites and the blacks, the choicers and lifers, nor even the patriots against the establishment.

The battle is truth against obfuscation. Stop accepting the nonsense you see on TV and read in these pro-establishment articles that pass as honest editorial. All honest men know what's right and what is not. Killing is wrong. Profiteering is WRONG! Taking the wealth of the public and spraying it into an orgy of greed is SO wrong that it must be stopped.

Robert, why don't you write an article on how we can go about recovering the money system so mightily damaged by the plutocracy? Or how the grass roots movements can unite to become ELECTABLE? Or maybe you want to live through the loss of the last Constitutional Republic on Earth.

Think about it.

I am so looking forward to a great election this November with some good and honest patriots running such as Rand Paul, Sharron Angle and Carly Fiorina! America is not only looking for some people with integrity and strong moral values but those who are tired of the spending of our run-away government involved in every aspect of our lives. We're suffocating!

Rand Paul gave a factually correct answer that was taken completely out of context. I agree with the poster above that says you are trying to scare us back into voting the lesser of two evils and to not stray too far from the liberal agenda.

Rand Paul would be the best thing that ever happened to Kentucky.

I live in Louisville and can tell you, we are absolutely salivating at the chance for Rand to win this race. Kentucky has a history of totally corrupt loser politicians by anyone's yardstick, so for a common sense thinker / Dr. to win this office would provide an enormous breath of fresh air to Kentucky.

You guys just keep thinking and talking like always while the revolution continues. You are useless as the solution and have become part of the problem.

Can you hear us now? The days of Democrat Socialism and Republican Socialism Lite are over.

A spectrum requires two end, two poles. At the one end, we have the freedom hating Democrats who want to control everyone and everything. Right next to them in the spectrum are the Republicans, who pretend to oppose them.

At the other end of the spectrum is freedom. That's where you will find libertarians.

Wake up, Republicans. You can stop pretending you endorse freedom or you can join the communists in the Democratic Party. But the days of people voting for you because you're "not a Democrat" are over. Deal with it or lose.

I would rather watch the socialist Democrats destroy the country than vote for some Republican pretender.

The practice of cumulative voting in Port Chester, NY, is one example of why firebrands are entering U.S. politics. I will ask JB of Virginia who criticized my Posterchild post to please excuse my voter's paranoia after reading about this practice. This aggressive campaign on the part of U.S. Department of Justice in the local elections of Port Chester is more than a little unnerving. When the government becomes involved in outcomes rather than process, our freedoms are surely up for grabs. It should not be the role of the federal government to sway an election because any given people group doesn't show up in sufficient numbers to make an impact. Their intention was clear: to dilute the white vote. Our last Presidential election was knee deep in ACORN voter fraud with the same goal. You could even say that helped Eric Holder get his job. Apparently, this recent episode was highly crafted with large federal expenditures of money and press reports at the ready to quell dissent (and reminder notes sent home in children's backpacks, to boot). How Orwellian. Who should decide what's "fair"representation? The people or the government? This practice of "cumulative voting" opens up elections to extremely fringe candidates and for elections to be manipulated. Now we are told it is sure to be "expanded." Says who? This is so characteristic of the Left: they do whatever they want -- the voter be damned. The only way the Democratic Party has stayed in power is by manipulating poor people groups. They are forever in search of the next wave of immigrants who don't speak enough English to know what they stand for other than one big, fat government handout. The ultimate end is bankruptcy through massive debt, but it's a "win-win" for them because evil, exploitative America can finally be put to rest. We are, once again, at the mercy of consummate hucksters with university degrees and swelled egos that rule the Democratic Party. They are trending us towards a very elite class of rulers above and serfdom below. The Democratic Party surely is the party of the very rich and famous, the private jet and lavish lifestyles. Nancy Pelosi's fabulous trip to Bali to ponder how to best limit our consumption comes to mind while hers stands aloof. Below is a bullet I found on Wikipedia about the practice of cumulative voting:

Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, which asserts a principle that the majority should have the right to make all decisions, states, "A minority group, by coordinating its effort in voting for only one candidate who is a member of the group, may be able to secure the election of that candidate as a minority of the board. However, this method of voting, which permits a member to transfer votes, must be viewed with reservation since it violates a fundamental principle of parliamentary law."[9]

Next they shall demand we despise the evils of civilization birthed in England by scrapping our busts of Churchill. Nevahh!

The establishment has encouraged us to vote for the lesser of two evils for decades. We marched right along, giving Republicans majorities in the House, the Senate and the Oval office.

What did that get us? Bigger government, bigger spending, expanded S-CHIP, new entitlements, not much in the way of changes in the fields of energy or really anything. We did get SOME tax cuts and some solid jurists on our Supreme Court.

People voted for Obama because they believed his tax-cutting, no lobbyists or special interests, transparency rhetoric. They now realize they were duped.

So now those who didn't do their research on Mr. Obama join the ranks of the disenchanted that are swelling inside the GOP tent. Those politicians who prefer the institution of Washington instead of mingling in the heartland now tremble that the barbarians are at the gate.

Articles like yours are intended to threaten us that we're not going to accomplish anything. Well, I'd say giving the GOP the majority didn't accomplish much of anything either. Prove to us you'll do something, then maybe we'll buy your wares.

The Lamar Alexanders of the world who craft our GOP message only prefer a slow hand and plenty of lubricant to accomplish the very same end goals as the Democrats. We aren't fooled. I'd rather fight a majority of Democrats with a few Spartans, because the so-called establishment hasn't really done much of anything to stop the tide.

The real problem here is that Schlesinger is "Liberal"(communist) garbage that should be shown either coast or either border at the point of a gun and ordered not to return upon pain of death.

We are taking our country back from such garbage, whether it likes it or not.

Our biggest enemies are white, were born here, and call themselves “Liberals” and progressives to hide their evil communist tendencies.

It will take many expensive suits hanging along Penn. Ave. to fix this mess if it can be fixed, and an extensive “Liberal” season whereby we force the amerikan communist insurgents out of the country or kill enough of them to restore Liberty.

It's way past time to plan for the attack that must come, and to stop hunkering down for the apocalypse.

Don't understand? Start here:

Everyone is welcome to move (back) there and stop mooching off us.

Schlesinger suggests, "The cutting difference between the establishment and the ideologically driven insurgencies in both parties, but most especially in the GOP, is pragmatism."

This is nonsense of course, designed to further portray conservatives as some sort of annoying and potentially dangerous fringe element. This angle is all too familiar, the disingenuously aggrieved and smoothly hypocritical stance of someone with a stake in the status quo. Pragmatism, Robert, is the approach one adopts when one's vision and goals are clear. The cutting difference between conservatives and the Establishment is in fact one of vision itself. The Conservative vision is government that governs fairly, free of corruption and as little as necessary. The Establishment vision is a muddled jumble of self-interest and back-room deals, actuarial winks and smugly whispered odds, seasoned liberally with nepotism and elitism. What vision is that? It is endless capitulation with Big Government.
