Responding to Obama's Nuclear Weapons Policy

We can't enforce a ban on drugs in our own country. We haven't been able to ban guns, and alcohol or violence! Now with that track record in mind, do you really think we can seriously ban nuclear bombs? When America and all the free world gets rid of nukes then just like guns only the criminals will have guns and nukes. If President Truman did not use the bombs we would have had to invade the Japanese Islands and that would have conservatively cost 500,000 u.s. solders lives! We didn't start the war, but techonolgy and a determined President ended it. The Japanese would NOT surrender!! Get the history lesson right! Would you likr to sacrifice your loved one to fifgt in Japan, Iran, North Korea, and maybe China? law down all arms and we will have another world war! Try visiting the Arizone memorial and you will get a balanced view of history and why the nuclear bombs were necessery!

Trust me if u let Iran build Nuke they gona wipe out the American fleet in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Seas, and if you let North Korea build Nuke they gone take out the American fleet around the easter Pacific speicaly near South Korea, Japan, Taiwant shoreline if war gona happen. By the way these country dictatorship ain't like the US at all they willing to caused massive casualty on American troop at anymovement given as their mood kick in, and both of the regime are short temper. Iran are test american by kidnaping it personal on land and at sea demand randsome, while North Korea topedos target practicing on american allies ship with the South Korean warship sunk 48 death, it just a small test before the next moves they gona make to make a total all out war on American

Total concerntrated your strength and fire power on 1 enemy first before you taken out the next one, that is the only way you win the war with 2 enemy like what you did in WW2 don't try to engage too many enemy at onces like Japan, and German, that's why they not last that long at war, by doing so will guarantee a success in victory otherwise you won't be win anywar in the future because american only 10 AC that are still operate left in around the world under the Obama Admin of CA 9:38AM May 29, 2010

FDR had warm relations with Stalin while the USA & USSR were part of the Allies. When FDR died, Truman began his personal Cold War against anti-capitalists. Being a Christian, he was also insulted because atheism was allowed & encouraged in the USSR. At Yalta, Stalin agreed that as soon as Hitler lost, the USSR would declare war on Japan. To the moment, the Red Army began to cross the Manchurian border, to take Japan from its West. Before they got very far, along came Truman and ended the war with his twin slaughters at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is terrible that people were able to invest in nuclear power for electricity. Those investors encouraged the enormous buildup of nuclear weapons, because they also bought shares of stock in companies that have anything to do with making nuclear weapons--uranium & other special metals & materials, delivery systems, etc. As a source of power, a nuclear plant builds huge waste piles of exceedingly bad stuff. We were warned with Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. We must have lawmakers who make the UN work on the policy that "War is not an acceptable solution to international differences."

Except for my Depression Kid generation, most people seem to have forgotten exactly what happened at Hiroshima. Even though the US Government showed us results of the test bombings, and we saw buildings vanish, and saw people with their skin peeling off, most people seem to have forgotten. Nuclear weapons must be banned and every one of them of any kind must be destroyed. Supplies needed to make them must be strictly regulated. Congress has stupidly pretended nuclear war is survivable, because Japan needs every foot of soil due to its overbreeding and Hiroshima became re-occupied. Reagan was especially dangerous with his bullying policy of "negotiating from strength," meaning with a huge nuclear arsenal. We worried especially whether Nixon would push the button, as we did with both Bush Cold War Nuts. The sad thing is that Truman was the most terrified Cold Warrior. He listened to advisers and bombed Japan to prevent the USSR from having a role in postwar Japan. See next screen for facts about Truman's policy to "Contain Communism," and what happened to the Yalta Agreement.

I am always amazed when I come across this topic. I remember as a kid, knowing I was actually a great athlete compared to most of my peers. I enjoyed wrestling, mostly because I never lost a match for 4 years. Then one day, I had a match up against this frail kid and thought..you know Tom (talking to myself)don't just hurt this kid because you can....

And ladies and gentlemen...that kid mopped up the entire gymnasium with my toosh...he beat me so bad I was darn near 30 before my ego was back in my head...

So my advice is, don't be so easy to act with impunity in these matters...some unassuming little berg from nowhere will kick our narcissistic tail.

Remember, our intelligence as to who has this stuff and who doesn't isnt that good...(i.e. Irag and its so called weapons of mass destruction)
