Inhofe: Climategate Shows There's No Global Warming Consensus

Hey men, is it really worthy to risk the future of our plannet and it's inhabitants because of our own well-being ? What can we loose, if we wan't ask and simply try to reduce our carbonfootprint and start living more "green" ? I can not understand how lazy and ignorant some people are when being interested only in their own profit without any signs of thinking about what the cosequences of their behaviour will be .. It makes me really sad to read again and again how little some of us do care ....

So, global warming is a farce, the science behind it is a sham, the scientists perpetuating that science are liars, and their emails prove there is some vast left-wing conspiracy to tax carbon and bring socialism to America.

OK, I'll buy that. Where does that take us? Is the earth warming or not - for real, now?

The scientists can't agree, says Senator Idiot.

OK, I'll buy that too. So, WHAT IF the earth is warming? Can we take a chance and just let the warming happen?

Well, let me impersonate the silly Gieco dude. "Would you give formula to your baby if you had even a 1% doubt it was poisoned"? (Insert footage of mother feeding baby here).

So, what's my point?

If you don't like the conclusions that the world's current flock of top-notch scientists have arrived at, Senator Idiot, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY CONQUERING SCIENCE WITH SCIENCE! GO OUT THERE, MEASURE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE EARTH, THE THICKNESS OF THE ICE CAP, THE LEVELS OF GREENHOUSE GASES, ETC., AND SEE WHAT THE DATA YOU COLLECT TELLS YOU. SUBMIT YOUR WORK FOR PUBLICATION IN SCIENCE OR NATURE. HAVE AN OPEN DEBATE WITH THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY ABOUT THAT WORK. LET THEM CRITICIZE YOU, AND REBUT THEIR CRITICISMS. WHEN THIS IS ALL SAID AND DONE, TELL US AGAIN IF GLOBAL WARMING IS A FARCE.

MORON.

(LEADING A FLOCK OF MORONS - AND YES, THAT INCLUDES ALL Y'ALL COLLEGE DROPOUTS CLAIMING GLOBAL WARMING IS A FARCE)

Pay a tax, change the climate??? Are you angry about this obvious RICO Act fraud and the national media's complicity in the cover-up, misinformation, reframing and misdirection of the issue and the related “carbon derivatives” market Obama’s Administration is spinning up? Why pay for propaganda? Take responsibility and take action. STOP all donations to the political party(s) responsible for this fraud. STOP donations to all environmental groups which funded this Global Warming propaganda campaign with our money, especially The World Wildlife Fund. DEMAND they take you off their donors’ mailing list. They have violated the public trust. KEEP donations local, close to home. MAKE donations to Oklahoma’s Senator Inhofe, the only politician to stand firmly against this obvious government/media coordinated information operation (propaganda) targeted at its own people. Senator Inhofe, the only politician to refuse the GREEN KOOL AID. Senator Inhofe, the only senator to stand between us and the collective insanity of the ruling class of elitist hucksters led by Al Gore. WRITE your state and federal representatives demanding wall to wall investigations of government sponsored propaganda campaigns and demand indictments of those responsible. WRITE your state and federal Attorneys General demanding Al Gore and others conducting Global Warming/Climate Change racketeering and mail fraud operations be brought to justice, indicted, tried, convicted and jailed.

I have e-mailed the White House as well as my Congressman and both Senators(Webb/Warner) asking for "The List" of scientists that agree that global mean surface temperatures are rising and that is is caused by human activity. No answer from the WH. All congress and Senate people say there is no list. If no "List", who are all these people that are telling us this

it's real. All the scientists I know (a few) say it's a sham. This administration feels that

"saying it's so, makes it so"....has got to go. I can barely stand wasting even cyber ink to

include Al Gore in ANY conversation. He's beyond comment. However, there is a very substantial "List" of very well respected scientists calling GW a sham.

Dave Huthwaite of VA 11:41PM March 26, 2010

You were not honest about your desire to collect a series of rubber stamps with real and imaginary names. The real world does not agree with your "consensus". I can't now watch any news show with Mort Zuckerman for fear that he is lying.

Look people. You are all missing the point completely. Even if global warming is true (I don't believe one breath of it) there is no alternative to reliable power produced by coal. I know for a fact that wind and solar are great supplements to the power grid but are in NO WAY even close to taking over as a primary source of power. They have no voltage or frequency control whatsoever. If it wasn't for cheap coal and the more expensive but stable gas and nuclear baseload supporting the grid, wind would not have a chance, and I laugh at the thought of solar when I read about billions of dollars spent on a plant that takes up thousnds of acres and produces a whopping 100MW WHoo Hoo! Bring on the Sun! Inhofe and the other republicans are right when they say the climate bill will not work. Democrats also know this but they know alot of money will be made by taxing emissions while alternatives are explored which will take a long time. The only way to reduce CO2 emissions is to either stop consuming power which isn't an option unless we plan to import everything we consume or give incentives for people trying to develop alternatives so that they can have a chance as a viable energy source. Don't put a tax on the only thing we currently have that keeps our country running as cheap and as reliable as it has for decades. I can almost bet that most people writing on this post have absolutely no idea how the power grid in the US works. I suggest you read some information about it before you act like you know what you are talking about.

Yes, just go to realclimate.org the website created and maintained by the very scientists embroiled in the cru scandal. That will clear things up. Please note where the namecalling and red herrings are emerging from

I am pleased to see that the US Senate (and it must be added, the Australian Senate) are firm in rejecting the climate change rubbish being peddled which in reality bears more similarity to snake oil salesmen than any recognisable science.

Senator Infohe is the leading light on this issue in the US Senate which has the interests of the world at heart here.

Our legislative assemblies in Europe have simply rolled over and died on this issue although one or two people have spoken the truth.

I am appalled to see the universities at the centre of the engine of lies but it must be said the tide is turning.

Possibly we will in due course see the US Senate proposing legislation to outlaw this nonsense and grand juries returning true bills for those who have wasted government money in pursuance of the scam?

Most chatter on these pages is more political than scientific.

A great resource for the differing arguments by scientists -- take any argument raised by a skeptic and you will responses with citations to authority:

Hooray for Se. Inhofe and others like him. The so-called science in the IPCC Reports is all about THEORY and poorly supported theory at that. Science is not about politically driven concensus, but is an open search for facts that are available for scrutiny and criticism as needed. It is absolute unequivocal fact that tens of thousands of scientists disagree with the climate extremists and the cataclysm scenarios. There is no unanimous concensus and even if there was it is meaningless. Look no further that the early 1970's when some leading scientists were predicting the coming Ice Age.
