To make America the world leader in technology, science and manufacturing both economically and educationally before the decade is out.

That America regains its position as the number one leader in quality and cost competitive product. There is no reason why we cannot achieve this if the government invest heavily into R&D.

That we mandate energy independence before the decade is out.

If we go nuclear we could achieve this in combination with coal technology.

Coal utilization technology with nanotech is a realistic goal with possible real time scrubbing of CO2 and Sulfur oxides via nano composites.

Funding core research efforts into medical diagnostics, medical automation, chemistry and fusion technology, improving the processing of coal and oil via nanotechnology, efforts to build nanotechnology computers and materials research into battery technology and processes. Materials research into nano composites represents a new frontier.

Develop the ocean for its true potential as the farm of the future. There is a vast three dimensional world out there that we have only literally scratched the surface of.

That would be my policy for advancing this country out of its economic slump.

It will take time and we do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.
