The Obama administration on Thursday released its economic report, which projects that while hundreds of thousands of jobs will be created in the next year, the high rate of unemployment created by the recession will not quickly diminish. The report--which, according to Reuters, included several of the same points released with last week's budget proposal for 2011--also emphasized Obama's plans to increase exports and reduce borrowing from abroad. The report places much blame on the previous administration for the state of the economy, yet many question whether Obama's own policies are the best way to encourage real recovery.
