The voters of Massachusetts sent a strong message to Washington on Tuesday when they elected Scott Brown, and the Democrats, reeling from the loss of their supermajority, are now forced to reconsider their plan for health reform, possibly trimming down their previous bill. President Obama, as reported by ABC News, said that Congress should wait for Brown to take his seat before healthcare talks can progress, and that he wants the members of Congress to "coalesce" around the core ideas that people can agree on. Republicans, such as John McCain, think that Tuesday's vote was a call to "stop the process" and that healthcare reform should start back at the beginning.
What do you think? What should Obama do about health reform? Take our poll and post your thoughts below.
