As his next step in closing the Guantanamo Bay detention center in Cuba, President Obama announced that as many as 100 terror suspects now detained there will be relocated to an underused prison in Thomson, Ill. Dubbed "Guantanamo Bay North" by some Republican Congress members, the jail will be rebuilt--creating jobs, the administration says--to become the "most secure prison in America," USA Today reports. Some opponents of the decision worry about the dangers involved with bringing suspected terrorists into the homeland. Others, in particular liberals opposed to holding prisoners who have not been given a fair trial, say that moving the detainees doesn't solve the real issue at hand. What do you think? Is relocating the detainees the right move? Take our poll and post your thoughts below.
