We voted for a man that we thought could unravel the mess our country is in, but I am afraid he has listened more of the same people that got us there in the first place. I am 74 yrs old and was looking for a scrapper not politician, i was looking for a man of vision not a man that the glass is half full, I was looking for a man that would fight to bring back manufacturing jobs, not a country that is a going towards a country of service oriented country, I thought we might have voted for a man like President Franklin Roosevelt during his fight to bring this great country back from another depression. I conclude by saying where are all the real men in this great country, help us lord find just that right MAN

A country that attempts to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket trying to lift himself up by the handle - Winston Churchill, 1935

Like the bumper sticker says... "Voted for Obama... So how's this change thing working for you?"... What were these people thinking? You took a Senator, with the least experience of any presidential candidate EVER... With the MOST liberal voting record EVER.... Gave him both houses of congress... WHAT DID YOU all expect to happen?!! Let’s just hope NOTHING happens before the rest of the country can vote again to UNDO the errors of this past election…

We could not have done worse. He has surrounded himself with radicals and is pushing a leftist agenda down our throats. America's little experiment had been a dismal failure and 2012 cannot come fast enough for me.

America is sick of ACORN, Van jones, man/boy jennings, Moveon.org, Ayers Wright, Flager, Dunn, Emanuel and the rest of the radical left that is running the show. America is a right center nation, and Obama promised to represent all Americans but he bold faced lied and he will find out in 2010 just what happens to liars.

Things would not be better if John McCain had been elected (or appointed) president instead of Barack Obama and they would probably be worse.

Bottom line, President Obama had a dream. It is the same dream that many have had before him. Once he became President the dream became reality. Reality has set in and he knows it's tough. It's been not quite a year that he has been in office and nobody is perfect. He has made what some of us consider to be bad calls (can't please everyone at the same time)and like any other president he will probably make more bad calls. He is what we have right now and he needs support not dissention. Bring an offering of solutions to the table instead of accusations.

You say the American people expected miracles of Mr. Obama. Well, he told us he was going to make miracles during the campaign. He made lots of promises and raised expectations to enormous heights. The American people (slightly more than half of the voters) believed him. Those of us who didn't are eagerly searching for the Change we were sold. We are now finding that the Change we are getting is coming at an extremely expensive premium in the form of deficit spending, even larger and more bloated government and the enevitable payoff for having a Democratic administration - higher and higher taxes. I don't think we can stand any more of these kind of miracles.

It is relatively easy and a lot of fun to fly around the country smiling, making promises and blaming all things bad on someone else. It is especially fun when you do it with other people's money. It isn't as easy to run the most powerful country in the world and it isn't as much fun because people are measuring your performance, and in a free society like ours, offering their opinion about it 24 hours a day. Mr. Obama was, and still is naive with respect to the solemn responsibilities he won. Instead of putting people back to work, making tough decisions and improving the prospects of our future, he runs off to Denmark to win the Olympics for Chicago, jets off to Manhatten for dinner, and runs the Marine Corp and Air Force ragged with his nonstop flitting around the country - at the expense of the US taxpayer, of course. He needs the dose of reality that he will never get in the back rooms of his political party where everyone loves him. This is the real world Mr. Obama - time to become a real man instead of voting "Present" and blaming others incessantly. Buck up, Mr. President or you are going to fail - and when you fail, so does our country.
