ACORN would still be stealing millions from the tax payers

Van Jones would be a prominent member of the white house

man/boy Jennings would be watching over our kids (YIKES)

Thanks FOX news and shame on NBC,ABC and the other trash media for being Obama worshippers.

Thank you for proving my point with your long string of incoherence. We've opted out of the plan offered by my employer to use the plan offered by my husband’s employer. Apparently, the ‘collusion’ between the company offering his plan and the company offering the plan I opted out of failed. In their attempt to ‘fix prices’, they weren't able to eliminate all of the differences. So we both noticed which one was clearly better for our circumstances, and we chose it. The command economy you envision with your Utopian fantasy would eliminate such choices by driving insurance companies such as ours out of business (We know you hate them). If insurance companies are so profitable and anyone can start one, then I think you should try. Or at least you should buy their company stock if you think owning such a company will supply you with such easy money.

I notice that there is no alternative to Social Security. Government doesn’t give us a choice of where to invest those retirement dollars, which never earn interest or show a positive rate of return. Younger Americans are paying the highest FICA rates ever with no chance of getting their money back before the system goes broke. Likewise, we are not allowed to opt out of Medicare, to use our share of the money spent there to participate in a program that isn’t already going bankrupt. I find it very ironic when leftists accuse the private sector of monopolistic practices, when government monopolies run by unaccountable bureaucrats are always their objective.

‘Anti-trust’ is just a weapon politicians use to attack the free market. Obama is just using it now as part of his protection racket. This is just his latest shakedown. Fifteen years ago the Community Reinvestment Act was his protection racket, where he and many other ‘community organizers’ (thugs), forced banks to lend money to sub-prime loan applicants. This created the bubble in the housing market, which burst when sub-prime borrowers defaulted, as their credit scores predicted they would. The result is the worldwide recession. Now that they’ve shaken down the banks for all the money they can get (being bailed out at taxpayer expense), their turning to the insurance companies. Next it will be the pharmaceutical companies. You’re just standing there waiting for your share of the loot you’ve been promised. Do I have to remind you of how many promises Obama made to you that he already broke?

Bringing up socialism's Nazi past didn't help your argument one bit. I don't recall mentioning Socialism or Nazism here, which calls into question the reason why you did. Obviously, you had a chip on your shoulder. I just knocked it off.

1970's conniving, right-wing, white egoist - 40 years later - a conniving, black (well, half) left-wing egoist... What's the diff? Well, one is slick and smooth - the other, not so much.

Barbara says Leftists want to take her health plan. I websearched to find when insurance companies were exempted from anti-trust laws. The laws existed to prevent insurance companies from conspiring together to set prices. Obama seeks changes because insurance companies, as private parties, do all they can to increase their income from policies. The McCarran-Ferguson Act PL 15, 1945 was the anti-trust law. I didn't have time to do more research, but there's no doubt that when policy holders pay commissions on each policy, it increases healthcare costs. Anyone can form an insurance company & the smaller are often bought out. We need a taxpaid healthcare system. ANY project that's tax-funded is "socialistic." GI Housing & Education Bills were & are socialistic. For a long time, our military has been 100 per cent socialistic. Its members & dependents have taxpaid health care. At PX's & Navy stores, they get socialistic tax-subsidized low prices. Congress has socialized medicine. Americans have been conditioned to fear the word "socialist" because Nazis stole the word for the name of their wretched group "National Socialist Workers Party." It was the most PROFIT SEEKING group that ever existed, SELLING victims' dental gold, hair, etc.

Obama is Prochoice. Murdoch is Prolife, so he attacks Obama. Murdoch has interests in Fox TV, 20th Century Fox, NY Post, London Times, Zondervaan publishing, & he publishes Bibles, always best-sellers. In 1998, he & his wife accepted from Cardinal Mahoney the Pontifical Order of St. Gregory the Great. It;s given for great service to the Church & Holy See. Murdoch gave $10 million for a new Los Angeles Cathedral. Murdoch was praised by church officials for an "unblemished character." Some say it's inappropriate because he divorced his wife after 31 years to wed a woman half his age. Commentators who praise Murdoch seem to be Roman Catholic Prolifers or people who are not aware of the tremendous Prolife SLANT in his publications. Most Americans don't seem to wonder who owns media. For example, The Washington Times is owned by Sun Y Moon, accused of taking money from believers to use in private projects of his own. He was involved in an attempted takeover of an entire town. People confuse his Washington Times with the Washington Post. Murdoch & his publications endorse compulsory parenthood. I say his monopoly of so much media is a danger to the republic.

The left can’t deal with dissenting opinion. Unable to formulate cogent counter-arguments persuasive to those they disagree with, they attack, they smear, and they insult. But they are unwilling to consider the points of view of those of us who disagree with them. Why not just tells us, one more time, how racist we are for wanting to keep the money we earn, and for wanting to keep the health coverage we have? When Fox News exposes a politician or an operative for lying, and proves it, the lying is the problem, not the exposé. When other networks fail to expose politicians for lying, they are failing to serve their viewers, who wisely abandon them in favor of those who do serve them. This is why Fox News consistently has the highest ratings.

There is NO EXCUSE for any Official especially the President to bash or call names like a child having a temper fit!!! It brings our country down to the levels of Korea, Japan and others who 'fight like bullies' to get a point across!!! If you are a true journalist your personal opinion has NO ROOM in your stories...PERIOD!! Report the new ALL of it, not just the crap you think a sitting president wants to hear, so you get your pat on the head!!!

rckmom of FL 8:18AM October 27, 2009

FOKKKx is not a news organization, they are the research arm of the GOP. They should come out of the closet and stop pretending. They pump out hatred and would ot mind if the country fails to get more viewers.

I believe as does Mr. Roff that this a a risky strategy likely to blow up in President Obama's face. Yes, it may rally his base of about 20% of the population who identify as liberals, but it is bound to alienate the rest. Any objective observer can plainly see that this president is favorably reported on by nearly every other media source including the network news, MSNBC, and CNN. This is not to mention Time and Newsweek plus a plethora of print newspapers. Let's not stop there. We can include many in a very liberal Hollywood. College campuses are well-known hotbeds of liberalism. I would agree that Fox opinion shows such as Beck, Hannity, and O'Reilly are decidedly anti-Obama, but isn't this balanced out by MSNBC's stellar line-up of Matthews, Olbermann and Maddow who are gushingly pro-Obama? I believe that the administration, not without some basis, blamed Fox for inciting or at least of being in open support of the "Tea Party" demonstrations of last summer and this pushback against their policies frightened them.

I believe that their intent is as the author states that the administration is attempting to make Fox look illegitimate so as to forestall the other networks from doing the jobs that they are paid to do and to be the fourth branch of government. Jake Tapper of all the mainstream reporters seems to take his duties in this regard seriously. The more that the administration pushes against Fox, the more people will believe that the administration has something to hide.

We would have the following:

Charlie Gibson giving us his "unbiased" account of things

Cutie Couric giving us the news through the eyes of a little girl with a crush on the President

Chris Mathews giving a a staight forward account of why he gets tingly when obama speaks

Giddy Diane Sawyer giving us the news down the middle

George Staphonopolous wiping his tear filled eyes as he non-biasly covers the innaguration

Kieth Olberman doing what he does best which is reporting the news fair and balanced

Rachel Mandow being our wathdog to the white house

And last but not least Dan Rather, the definition of journalistic integrity, will give us his account of the news

LIBERALS ARE SIMPLY AMAZING......These are the most corrupt journalist in history and they expect America to trust these clowns with a very important role in American politics. No thanks liberals, your cronies had their chance and america has spoken loud and clear. That's why I'll be sticking with Fox news.
